• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Biting the bullet...the ELKA Bullet, that is....

Well, we're biting the bullet today...having an Elka rear shock installed on our 2008 RS. We're beating the Spyderfest rush by having it done at Cowtown today before more Spyders needing/wanting Elkas show up. We've got too much weight on the rear end, with the saddlebags and Givi trunk...OK, I'll admit it...with the passenger, too. Will take it out for a test ride afterwards. Checked out a few murals and the world's largest rocking chair earlier today. At least the weather warmed up and the winds aren't as bad today.

Congraluations, smart idea to get a jump on everyone else. Those Cowtown boys will be worn out come Sunday.

:agree: Really liked the ride with the new shock, too. I'm gonna have to send Erags back to work...so far we've added a rear Elka and a passenger backrest from Ultimate seats...and Spyderfest hasn't officially started!

I had the fronts installed today, having the rear installed on friday with my new rear tire. I can already feel the difference between the elka fronts and stock rear shocks.

Have Len give you a job while you are there:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack: just say...I work for elkas
