• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

have a 2013 rt limited does anyone know what is a good system for passenger and rider. And how it would hook up

I love our Scala Riders G9. I don't carry a passenger but connect to my husband and other riders with it. It also has Bluetooth capability so I can listen to music from my phone.

CARDO SCALE G9

CARDO SCALE G9 is the ULTIMATE.... :firstplace:

SENA SMH-10. Works awesome. I had the Cardo systems and this is much easier to use, especially with gloves on.Add the SM-10 Dual and both of you can listen to the music right from the Spyder.

SENA SMH-10R

BRP is selling the "Dongle" which connects with the bike radio. It is bluetooth. Also they sell the Sena bluetooth headsets. This has the intercom feature, so you can talk with your passenger. With this system you do not need the CB/intercom system.

The Bluetooth dongle is only for in helmet music and does nothing to facilitate communications.

Cb IMO is still needed for bike to bike communications unless everyone has Sena headsets paired with each other.... Cb is simpler.

We use the Sena SMH-10 sets and love them. Very clear and we can carry on conversations throughout the ride. Really makes for a fun ride, much like our drive. Highly recommended!

brp intercom system

I have the one installed on the bike talk to talk with passenger is Great But the CB is not a quality system or clear to hear for any distance or to recieve but costly as all BRP stuff is

SHM10 Is what I have . You can listen to Music with it?

I have the SMH10 but have never been able to listen to music . Guess I need to go back to the book and try and re program. I can hear my Garmin and answer the phone but I guess I need some help with the music thing I just turn up the volume on the radio (2011RT)

another Sena

We use the Sena SMH10 bluetooth headsets, going on 2 years, and would not ride without them.
Driver to rider is clear and easy, both can use a phone (but we don't), I hear the instructions from the Garmin, and you can get music. Have not used Bike to bike. They have software for PC & Mac users (bonus for me)

If you don't mind parting with some more money, pick up a bluetooth mp3 player. I bought one, but haven't gone on a long ride solo so haven't paired it with the headset yet. I suspect that may be the easiest way to go.
