So, how many disks are you running vs. the single? Seems like you could run them pretty quiet and still not choke things down running the duals.

I ran five on the single... and it was OK except at top end... from 8k rpm on... you could tell the exhaust was a little restricted there. It took about seven for the top end to be OK... but then it too loud for cruising, IMHO.

I'm currently running three each on the twins but have not been able to check top end out... yet. May have to go to four. If it goes past four, I'm not sure I'll like the sound.

Theoretically, you're right... much better through-put with duals w/less disks even though they come through the same 2.5" 90* pipe.

For me, style has to balance with noise. I do, however, still have a large box of foam earplugs... somewhere. :thumbup:
