• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RT 622 Recall Question

Just took delivery of a 2012 RT 622 on Wednesday. I was something about a recall for the wheel bearings on these units but can't find anything online. I'd call the dealer but if he doesn't know enough to connect the Spyder to trainer harness that runs though the tongue of the trailer, I doubt he'll know about a recall........................plus I dislike this dealer but he had the trailer!!

Thanks for your help.....as usual.

Service Bulletin. Don't remember the number but I know it's NOT a recall (See difference between a Service Bulletin and Recall).

In late December and before delivery, my dealer checked on mine and found that it DID fall under the service bulletin. They installed new wheel bearings. I have just about 7,000 miles on my 622 trailer and I'm about to take it in for new packing.

Don't know anything about the bearings, did you get your trailer from Fulton?

There is a service bulletiun covering at least some of the RT-622 trailers, although I don't know which ones. Your dealer can look it up on the Web...although in this case your dealer sounds pretty incompetent. You may wish to see another dealer. Have your trailer VIN# handy when you inquire.

No....his was sold. Found a 2012 new white one locally. The dealer sucks (and his sticker peeled off easily) but the cost was reasonable & it matches my RT Limited.

I'll check with the dealer I bought my Spyder from. He's VEEEERY competent & easy to deal with. If you're ever in trouble in NY near Buffalo, try Ken's Service & Sales in Elma. They are the best!!! Warranty replaced a ball joint, the tire it ate up, & a seat I didn't realize was coming apart. Gave me a great deal on a used trailer hitch & wiring harness too. Just wish THEY had had the trailer..............................
