• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Here's a Simple Alteration to help your Lift Table suit a Spyder.

Thank you ever so much for the measurements, very much appreciated. A trip to Home Depot is in order as your measurements are the same as mine. Let the modifications begin!

Here's a Simple Alteration to help your Lift Table suit a Spyder.

Thank you for your post. I have a similar lift to yours which I was thinking of selling it for a Big Blue lift. Would you mind giving me a couple of measurements? First is height of your table fully collapsed from the floor to top of the ramp. Second is what is the length of the removable...

    Conventional vs Reverse Trike Discussion

The Corvette is a 68 C3 with a 435 hp 427 for motivation. Took me 25 months to build it from a rolling chassis to street ready.

    Conventional vs Reverse Trike Discussion

Very informative and well written post, thank you! I've ridden Harleys for the past 53 years and liked them all, except the last one which was a Freewheeler which I disliked from day one. It was the worst riding and handling Harley that passed through my garage, no matter what I did to improve...

Should I roll off the Throttle when upshifting, or maintain the position? What are the best RPM's?

I’m still in the learning curve with the recently acquired 2022 Spyder RT. What’s the best RPM level to maintain the engine at for the best all around performance? I don’t want to lug it or over rev it, keeping the engine where it likes to run at is my goal.

Should I roll off the Throttle when upshifting, or maintain the position? What are the best RPM's?

I recently traded my Harley Freewheeler for a 2022 RT and have a question on throttle usage when upshifting. Do I rolI off the throttle when upshifting or maintain the position so the RPM’s don’t drop? I’m still getting used to using my thumb and index finger to shift instead of my foot!

Confusing info in the users guide - am I missing something, or what?

Thank you for the replies. Now I know the RT doesn’t have a sport mode. My high/low beam switch does not have a spring loaded position to flash the high beams, there’s an icon on the switch to indicate a flash position but it’s for decorative purposes only! The 2022 users guide mentions sport...

Confusing info in the users guide - am I missing something, or what?

I’m 4+ weeks into the switch from a Harley trike to the 2022 Can Am Spyder RT and have some questions on info in the users guide. It states there’s 3 modes, normal, eco and sport modes. I only have normal and eco modes, no sport mode. On the headlight selector switch section, it says it has low...

First time ride on my Spyder today - I think I'm gonna like it!

After 53 years on Harleys, most recently a Freewheeler trike that I traded for a 2022 RT, I now realize how much I disliked it after driving the Spyder. On Harley touring bikes, you sit on the bike, on a Harley softail, you sit in the bike, which I liked. On the way home with the Spyder, one of...

Is there supposed to be a lift support for the drivers seat?

Any tips on how to get the lift cylinder on the bottom pin? Access looks rather limited, top looks easy.

How difficult is it to replace the Windshield on a 2022 RT?

Thank you, your 2 cents were worth a lot!! Found a short video showing exactly the steps to remove and install. Thanks for your input as well, the youtube video said use tape and paper towels and lots of care! Thanks for the recommendation, I had a similar windshield on the recently traded...

Trailer hitch removal - can I just slide out the hitch thru-bolt without causing issues - 2022 RT Limited?

Thank you for setting me straight, it’s very much appreciated! Thank you for your reply, there was a hollow axle, 2 flat washers, a nut, and 2 plastic caps in the right saddlebag. So I assumed wrongly that the long hitch bolt replaced the hollow axle. I’ll be listing the hitch in the for sale...

Trailer hitch removal - can I just slide out the hitch thru-bolt without causing issues - 2022 RT Limited?

Thanks for your reply. When the hitch was installed it comes with a longer bolt which is also the axle to compensate for the additional width of the hitch. I have the original hollow axle to replace the longer bolt/axle. There are a series of photos on the LaMonster website showing long bolt...
