• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Still struggling with s20 and sm10

That's a pretty blanket statement about Sena's when they sell quite a few different headsets. My guess is you are referring to the 20S models and yes they have certainly had their fair share of issues with the 20S. If this is your first experience with them, then I certainly understand your...

    Potential RT Limited Newbie

That's a beautiful Victory Cross Country Tour! I've never owned a Victory, but I've assisted several times when the demo truck was in town and have pretty much gotten to ride everything in their fleet. I had a buddy that a was a salesman at a dealership and let me take a Cross Country Tour home...

A discussion on the value/danger of adding a seat belt

Wasn't it mentioned that the rider in the MI crash wasn't wearing a helmet? I think if anything, this is the biggest piece of safety gear to save your life, especially a full face helmet that gives you full protection. The seat belt debate is interesting, but I'm thinking I'm going with the...

    michelin rear tire

I'm sure not all tires are created equal in diameter, even in the same size range, but I'm running a 215/60-15 on the RS Sypder I'm borrowing and the tire isn't hitting the fender. So some will fit.

Help! 2012 RT Limited - won't start, stuck out on the Cape

If you jump it from a car, do it with the car off. You don't need the car running as that often sends too much amperage through the Motorcycle system. Of course make sure the polarity of the cables is correct and don't hit the positive to anything metal on the frame.

Help! 2012 RT Limited - won't start, stuck out on the Cape

I don't know the RT's well enough to know if there are any other safety features that keep it from starting, but it definitely leans towards some sort of safety kill item that isn't working correctly. The kill switch, brake pedal, & mode button have all been mentioned already. Is there anything...

    gas mileage

I was riding with a friend this weekend that has a 2010 RSS Spyder and her husband had to catch up to me to let me know she needed gas soon. I don't remember how many gallons it took, but she said she had been on no bars for awhile. I know the 2013 RS I'm borrowing if I fill up soon after the...

    Sena SMH10 question

Have you physically verified your phone is allowing you turn the volume all the way up when it's connected to the Sena and you have your current music playing? I know on my Note 4, it will stop the volume about 3/4 the way up until I click OK on the screen on the warning about hearing damage...

    KUMHO ECSTA AST tires

Yeah, but does your Impala actually take that size tire stock? They might reject that too? But maybe they are just watching for the Spyder to be listed in the car section details. I put in 1970 Beetle when I ordered mine because you could pretty much have any tire size you want on that car.

    Oooo, she's naked!

Looking forward to see what this looks like all assembled.

    KUMHO ECSTA AST tires

I would think that if you didn't even make a big deal about it, most tech's wouldn't even notice and would just put the new tire on without thinking twice about it. Just seems if you call them and specifically ask about installing a non standard tire, you'll probably get some flack.

    KUMHO ECSTA AST tires

I had read about that happening here, so when I ordered a Kumho Tire from TireRack last week, I just put 1970 VW Beetle. I figured I could have just about any size rim on there I want and they would have nothing to argue against. They gave me no issues and shipped it right to me. I would...

Belt Alignment was up against flange after dealer service

Yep, I saw that approach in a video and I might do that when I put the new Kumho tire I have for it on.

    Helmet and comms device

Although I have not made a direct comparison, in real world use, all of us with the 10's seem to long out last our buddy with the 20S unit. Standby mode is very low on the battery usage on any of the units. They all do a good job there. The true test is amount of time staying in intercom mode...

    Helmet and comms device

The Sena SMH10's have long been proven, are very reliable, have great battery life, are easy to use and work great. The newer Sena 20S add a few more features (like actually being able to talk on the intercom while you listen to music), but they had a few growing pains early on. Most have been...
