• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The Answer To Your Quest For The Perfect Cup Holder

cup and cell phone holders I purchased the pair (cup holder and cell phone holder). I have my doubts that it will hold up for long. I tried it on a 30 mile ride and it was working its way lose and hand to tighten it a couple times while riding. I don't mind losing my drink but would hate to...

Updated Info on RT/RS SE5 clutch "fix" campaign

It sounds like you have a different problem. At least not what I was experiencing with the clutch difficulty. I had no problem with normal riding and getting up to 6 or 7,000 RPM and 70-75 mph. Mine was going from 2nd to 1st then coming to a complete stop. it would stall out then stay in 1st...

Updated Info on RT/RS SE5 clutch "fix" campaign

Mine has been in the shop for 28 consecutive days now. I have my DEMAND letter typed and ready to send overnight to BRP for receipt by them on Friday. That puts them on notice they have 15 days to complete repairs. It also puts them on notice that any more down time in the next 18 months...

Virginia has a very similar lemon law. By Thursday they will have mine for the allowable 30 day shop time permitted during the first 18 months. BRP will then have 15 days to complete the repair after receipt of a demand letter.

Updated Info on RT/RS SE5 clutch "fix" campaign

It wouldn't surprise me that "certain essential components" were left out of all the fix kits. My dealer called me this afternoon and said the fix kit had arrived as promised last week by BRP, but it was not complete. The recall was for about 1,200 units but according to my warranty dealer BRP...

Same situation exists for the clutch recall. Parts are on back order and it may be the first of July before the repairs are made.

Updated Info on RT/RS SE5 clutch "fix" campaign

Took mine in for the 600 mile maintenance and they are taking care of the "sticky clutch" problem at the same time. Mine had gotten to the point of stalling out at nearly every red light. Looks like I'll be without the spyder this weekend.
