• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Actually, the point just before the tire lifts is the limit. Once the inside tire is in the air, it moves your center of gravity up and out, reducing the available cornering force.

There's WAY too much truth in that statement. :ROFLMAO:

How much handle bar play should there be?

Wow. That seems like a lot of work just to replace hiems. When the time comes, I'll look into what it would take to modify the assembly to be able to use PTFE lined heim joints. I've found good quality PTFE joints last nearly forever.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

I find the cornering limit of the F3s pretty easily. It's when the inside tire is off the ground. 🤣

How much handle bar play should there be?

    Aren't the hiem joints replaceable?

New Old guy - introducing myself and my 2015 F3S!

Looks identical to mine, except no clutch lever or shifter. 😥

That was to keep them from stealing the plane and defecting to another country. Pretty bad when even your top pilots are that desperate to leave. 😥

Does a first service/oil change at 500 miles sound "normal" for a 2024 RTL

If you were riding the roads back then, you wouldn't do 1000 miles in two days. :ROFLMAO: We're in the Philippines right now, and to go to my wife's childhood home is 17 miles, or a little over 2 hours.

Do I need to do a Spring oil change if I did on in Fall before Winter storage?

Oil definitely does not go bad just sitting in the sump, unless it's been decades, or sitting outside where condensation can get extreme. You're fine for the remainder of the change interval.

You CAN get seals &/or pistons for brake caliper rebuilds!

Thanks for this info. Can this be made a sticky???

Anyone identify this exhaust system? (And how do I quiet it down?)

Just switch to the F3 muffler. There's not much in it, just an empty chamber with packing around the perforated pipes. Without the CAT, it sounds pretty good to me, but not obnoxiously loud.

Not a Spyder Ryde, and not my ride either, but check out 'The Gorge Road'!

I've driven in England a fair bit. It takes a couple days to get comfortable, and you have to stay alert to keep your long-term muscle memory from causing the wrong reaction when something unexpected comes up, but in a car, being seated on the right does serve to remind you that things are...

    'The Lamonster Chronicles'

I used to work in nuclear power, and welders are some of the most under-rated professionals in the world. It's as much an art and talent as it is a learned skill. Many people can weld, but few are welders. The true top of the heap, code certified welders, are masters of their craft. Hope Lamont...
