• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    FedEx is the worst!!!

Go down to VA, where I live. They're calling for 18-24" this weekend, with temps in the 20's down to 5.🥶 Fortunately, my wife and I are enjoying the 70 degree weather here in the Philippines.🤣

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Those do work very well. I'll order some for the Spyder. All my automobiles have Fumoto oil drain valves, so I never have to worry about leaks or pulling the threads in the pan. The ones with nipples also make collecting the used oil in the 5 qt containers a clean and easy operation. No dirty...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

One of those hand impact drivers is great for this type of thing. Remember, those plugs don't have to be banjo tight. Get a good torque wrench and follow the specs.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

I discovered there are two CAN diagnostic ports on my F3S. Only one works with BUDS or my DynoJet PV4.

Make sure to check your brake linkage when you are doing your maintenance!

If you go that route, get a castellated nut and drill the bolt in the appropriate spot to keep it tight. A dab of Loctite or a new Nylok nut should do the job, though.

Make sure to check your brake linkage when you are doing your maintenance!

I made my own adjustable brake and shift rods, using aluminum links and stainless steel heim joints. I always use new Nylok nuts on stuff like this, and checking tightness is part of my checks during maintenance. I agree, losing that linkage would make for a bad day.

That's it. It's been years, and I couldn't remember the exact spelling. He was a smart guy, but a funny little dude, too. We had video of him fully dressed out in PC's walking around the contaminated area with a big plastic bag collecting air samples. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Sliding off floor lift (GAH!) - What do you do to keep your Spyder from sliding off the jack?

Honestly, I have yet to meet a dealership service dept. that I'd trust with any of my vehicles. Anything outside of warranty repairs, I'll just do it myself.

Towing - To cover, or not to cover?

I added eye nuts to the front shock mounts like you, and bought a length of 10mm SS threaded rod, cut it to fit through the rear axle with washers and eye nuts on each end, and use that to tie down the rear. Installs and removes in just a few seconds. I use straps on all, as I think the...
