• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    So it will start after shutdown but will not go into gear. Not sure what model it is but you may be having problems with the switches activated by the paddles.

    Do you plan to ride your Spyder WELL past 100,000 miles? If so, you might want to get picky about what oil you use. Otherwise just use an oil that meets the specs.

    At times the cold level will not even show on the stick. NEVER try to rely on a cold level check.

    Don't the '20+ models still have the switch under the passengers seat that should cause the nanny to kick in a little earlier when there is a passenger on board?

    If you twist the grip to full throttle before cranking it shuts off the ignition and you can crank as needed without it starting. The main reason for this is to clear a flooded engine.

    Steve, you are closer than most. It was just to show using the changing of weight to determine the changing of air pressure. Something some people have a hard time grasping when you put car tires that normally use 30+ PSI on a light weight spyder and can't get it that they only need 20 PSI...

    Any time limit on changing HCM filter during oil change? Is a 10 y/o filter good for a few more years?

    When I changed mine at around 30,000 miles I was surprised at how clean it was on the inside when I broke it down.
