• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Feedback on Ultimate Seats Low Profile Passenger Backrest vs the OEM Passenger backrest with arms, or mounting the OEM backrest straight onto trunk?

Obviously you've been married (like I) a while and know how to "verbally" navigate those waters....LOL :ROFLMAO: Yeah my wife is the same and can't get on the Harley anymore so trying to make the Spyder has comfortable as it is on my Ultra Classic Limited. She loves the fact that she can get on...

Feedback on Ultimate Seats Low Profile Passenger Backrest vs the OEM Passenger backrest with arms, or mounting the OEM backrest straight onto trunk?

You sure, when I looked at the SlingMods website and it shows a person sitting aganst both from the side view and you can physically see their postition "move" back a few inches. The wives of all the folks I ride with really like it over the stock "armed" backrest. They all say it's more...

Feedback on Ultimate Seats Low Profile Passenger Backrest vs the OEM Passenger backrest with arms, or mounting the OEM backrest straight onto trunk?

Hey there, I was wondering if anyone has done anything with the passenger backrests on the 2020+ RTL? I was looking at the Ultimate Seats Low profile passenger backrest replacement from SlingMods. This eliminates that 2 ¾” trim piece between the rear trunk and the seat; which would give my wife...

Installing a rocker switch USB C charge port - any reason this won't work?

If you ever want to change the switch out, you can buy one that you can configure in any way. I used this one for turning on my running/high beam spot lights. Internal LEDs match the other switches on the dash. Glad you got it working. Mike

Installing a rocker switch USB C charge port - any reason this won't work?

Not sure what the draw on the fog light plug is, but those inline fused rocker switches with USB's tend to draw up to 6 amps (fused at 10 amps) so you might overload that line or blow the fuse. I would run a fused power line from the battery into a 20 amp headlight relay that turns on when the...

What did you do to/with your Spyder today?

Haven't been to the rock store in years! Love riding in the Santa Monica Mountains. Love Deer Creek & Little Sycamore Canyon!

What did you do to/with your Spyder today?

I put on the rider's highway pegs and found them to be very comfortable. After riding with it a bit; didn't care for the solid metal foot pegs that came with it and decided to change them out. Found a used pair of Kuryakyn Small ISO pegs without the adapter's (had them on my Road King) on eBay...

How many Spyder Riders have had a Hip replacement? How does it work for you?

Dang we sound like a bunch of old folks... oh wait, I am! LOL

Anyone experienced vibrations in their 2026 Sea to Sky Mirrors, like those in earlier 2020+ models?

Put a Slingmods kit on mine and the mirrors are rock solid now. This did the trick: https://www.slingmods.com/canam-spyder-f3t-f3l-rt-side-view-mirror-stabilizers?search=mirror vib

Can I use the blank switch for Accessory power/spotlights on my 2023 F3S? What are the wires already attached?

Yes, I did use it for my Aux spotlights. You can buy the switch in any configuration you want and it fits perfectly! The internal LEDs in the switch are very close to the factory illumination color of amber. I bought it from...

What kind of navigation do you use on your Canyon, especially when you are out of cell phone service.

Garmin Zumo 665 with XM Radio. Works great when you out of cell service, which I found often when riding to Sturgis. I found a lot of places like Beartooth pass, Chief Joseph Highway, and many other places in Montana and Wyoming. I program my own routes with gas stops and lodging into my Garmin.

How many Spyder Riders have had a Hip replacement? How does it work for you?

I can't say for hip replacements, but I've had 3 knee replacements in the last 6 years. The first one, the doctor talked me into a Partial knee replacement (because that’s all he did) and it failed in 3 years. Never get talked into a Partial if you’re over 50. It doesn’t have the same longevity...

What did you do to/with your Spyder today?

Added highway pegs (bought them off eBay) and they turned out nice. The annoying thing was the seller. There were no instructions and it took him days to email me the template & instructions. The template was totally worthless, so I figured out where to mount the brackets. The other thing was...

Looking for Navigation options besides ACP - What do you recommend?

Most of the Motorcycle "Zumo" Garmin's will play MP3 files, which even included my old Zumo 550. The one thing about the Zumo 665, it has XM built into it too, so I get turn by turn directions and XM Classic Rewind. Granted, you have to mount an XM40 antenna...

Looking for Navigation options besides ACP - What do you recommend?

You are so spot on! Yup, I am presently mounting the Zumo 665 (with XM) motorcycle mount onto my 23 RTL, which I just purchased 4 weeks ago. Been using the 665 on my Harley for years now and it's still a great alterative to planned routes and listening to music when there is no cell signal. I...
