• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    I don't mind people asking. I myself grew up poor so I would never say someone would never afford a spyder in a lifetime. That's not a humble thing to say. We can have our spyders and still be humble.

    Firefly, I don't care about the scratches I do myself. In regards to not many dealers in California, there are only 2 in the bayarea. I bought it to look at it! Muhahaha. It is one of the reasons we buy it. Right? Scratches wont happen to the front of my spyder. 3M is awesome. :-P

    You've spotted it dead on. The tabs were nicely snugged behind the black parts on both sides before I brought it to the mechanic. When I got home, I saw that the tabs on both sides were sticking out and on the black paint. Good thing only the right side got scratched and not the left one.

    Firefly, that area you circled is a nice shiny reflection from the paint thanks to Lemon Pledge wipes. :-) The scratch is on the top portion of that piece right before the rubber part with the stylish holes.

    It's not a large scratch as you can see. But it's quote noticeable. :( Point is, they scratched my Spyder. Those bastards! I took off the part and I'm probably going to see if an auto detailing shop can buff it out and/or fix it.

    I'm not sure if the license plate fell off when I was riding or if someone stole it while it was parked. I hardly ever park my spyder anywhere, but I was using non-standard screws for the license plate. Anyone recommend where to get the screws for the license plate and a secure one at that...
