• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Can Am Spyders Resale value isn't great...

Actually, allowing for inflation, pricing has not changed all that much. I paid under $18k out the door for my 2024 F3S. Just $3k rise in 16 yrs.

Is it possible that BRP Corporate records on the Sprocket Recall have not been updated?

Easy to tell if the final sprocket recall was done. The sprocket will be grey, not white or black.

Anyone know where I can get a Blank (Non Transponder Key) for a Base Can-Am Canyon?

Does this blank also fit the Spyders? Will the Ilko X270 not fit a Canyon? I keep a small stock of the X270 keys on hand for customers. I know it fits the current 2025 Spyders, but I have not tried one of them on a Canyon.

Can you show us how you installed the power cables for your heated gear?

Currently Kemimoto, as I just could not justify the cost of Klim. I love my Klim jacket, gloves, and over pants, but the heated gear just seemed overpriced for the small improvement in quality. Very happy with the Kemimoto heated liner and gloves. Even if they only last a couple of seasons, I...

Trading in my Ryker, it's time for an F3-T - what issues should I be looking for/concerned about?

All 2015 and '16 F3 models got the large sprocket, none got the top case, not even the Limited. In 2017, the Limited got the top case, both F3T and L got the smaller sprocket just like the RT, and have remained so since that time. ALL F3S models have had the large sprocket and that model still...

Can you show us how you installed the power cables for your heated gear?

Battery tech has advanced so far the the last 10 yrs that corded heated gear is no longer necessary. My heated jacket liner runs 8hrs on a battery and I can quickly swap batteries if needed. Similar for my heated gloves. Move up to the 21st century.

Trading in my Ryker, it's time for an F3-T - what issues should I be looking for/concerned about?

BUDS has no idea if the sprocket has been replaced. Just look at the sprocket, they are color coded. If the sprocket is black or white, it's not been done. A 2017 F3T does not have the larger rear sprocket. Only the 2016's got that. The F3S continues to get it, but ONLY the F3S. You bought the...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Caliper must come off to remove the wheel from the bike. Rotor can stay put on the wheel when changing the tire with the correct equipment.

Garmin Zumo XT2's are on sale - Nov '25

Hopefully they are getting rid of the last of them before releasing an updated XT3. The XT2 was NOT a good upgrade from the original XT, I got rid of mine and went back. Just too unstable in its software.

We did not see anything in North Houston. Have never actually seen the Aurora myself. Some day.

    New Russell Daylong saddle installed

I can confirm the seat does indeed need to break in and conform to your butt. Give it time. The cold weather will make the break in take even longer. The RDL became the best saddle I have ever used on a bike and will not go with anything else. Now have it on on my new 2024.

    Would a 2025 F3L SS seat fit a 2018 F3L - any good recommendations for replacement seats?

ALL F3 seats, 2015 to current are interchangeable in that they will 'fit' Some are different heights than others and different shapes but they will all fit the mounting locations on ALL F3 models. The hard points and frame under are all the same.

2025 F3 Special Series - is there any reason that wiring the heated seat to the unused heated passenger handgrips wiring might not work?

It's there. Left side, next to the gas tank, below the seat. You will have to remove the side panel to access it, as its clipped to the frame. Once you find it, it's long enough to relocate it under the instrument panel or handlebars if you wish. It's one of only 2 customer accessory power...

Does anyone know the internal bore size of the OE brake rod?

Slingmods has an adjustable rod for position 4 and 5 available to purchase. Years ago when the F3 first came out and there were no adjustable or revised brake rods available, I attempted to do the exact mode you are contemplating. Do not remember the ID for the rod but what I do remember is...
