• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone else had a Tour pack alarm "Rear cargo open" on 2025 F-3 Limited? Any fixes?

If you remove the light assembly you can see the function of the tang and the switch. If your engagement pins are aligned correctly you will not be able to open the top case when locked. If the pins are not correctly aligned you can open it when locked. If the pins are correct then you can...

Anyone else had a Tour pack alarm "Rear cargo open" on 2025 F-3 Limited? Any fixes?

There is a switch inside the latch that needs adjusting or you have a broken wire.

When is the Price of gas going to stop rising?

It is already coming back down, a little faster in TN but AL is catching up. I live 5 miles from the TN/AL border. It peaked out at 3.99 for Regular and 5.29 for Premium. Yesterday TN was 3.77 and 4.17.

Large Power Sport Dealer ditches Spyders

I was in the local dealer today (RideNow Powersports Huntsville) for my first service on the RTL. All they had was one Ryker, a bare bones F3 and a Canyon on the show room floor.

Well, that's News to Me - Dealer won't service Spyders over 10 years old!

BMW is doing the same thing with motorcycles.

Where do I find Switched Accessory Power on a 2026 Spyder RT LTD?

On the 24 RTL that plug goes hot when you turn on the key, start or no start. I have seen posts that stated that connector on the 25 is on the other side of the bike but I have not verified it.

87 Octane seems to work just fine

If you have ever seen what detonation damage can do to an engine you would never ask the original question.

First time ride on my Spyder today - I think I'm gonna like it!

Just keep at it. It took me a good 1,000 miles to feel really comfortable on the Spyder after all my years on two wheels. And yes, the test ride at the dealer scared the cr*p out of me, but I knew it would, so I just pressed on. Each ride it gets better, now I actually look forward to the ride.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

My bride and I went on a ride from North Alabama to the town of Franklin, TN. Destination was to experience something we had not done in 40 years. We had In-N-Out burgers. For those who have never lived in California, it is a local chain, favorite for many, and the last time we lived there was...

Has anyone installed a Garmin XT2 and Touratech Lock with Helibars? Any pics? Will it fit?

I have not tried, as the XT2 syncs its files via BT from the Tred app on my phone. I don't know how to get GPX files to it.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Let me know if you can't get comfortable on it, I would be happy to take it off your hands. I would even come pick it up to save shipping hassles.

Is there a device to add to a Seat Backrest that Massages the lower back?

All this talk of massage reminds me of our years of riding. During our early years we rode two up on a 74 Suzuki GT 750, not the best seat. So when I stood on the pegs to stretch, she would reach up and massage my buttocks. Then children came along and while I still rode she did not. Fast...

Has anyone tried Reverse Brake Bleeding on their Spyder? Was it effective?

The only time reverse bleeding (yes not flushing) helps out is when the master cylinder is both lower than the brake line and the reservoir (fed by a hose). There you really need to force fluid backwards to get the air out.

Here is BRP's Most powerful Rotax engine in Feb 2017) - will we ever see it in a Spyder?

You actually can have too much power. A friend had a stroke and lost use of his left arm, so he had to give up riding two wheels and bough a Slingshot. He kept modding it until he could no longer use first gear to start out as it would just spin the tire. He now only starts out in second gear.

How do I go about Resetting the trip odometer A & B on the 10.25 touch screen?

Seems like everything these days is doubling functionality for a button by using a short press and a long press. Soon it will be second nature, I hope.
