• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Totally bonkers 'Miles to empty' on 2020+ Spyder - can it be fixed?

It is kind of funny as we always top off our cars when the tank hits half full, but yet run the Spyder to no bars...

Totally bonkers 'Miles to empty' on 2020+ Spyder - can it be fixed?

Well the best I can determine from the manual is that the pump and pickup sock are INSIDE a plastic container (tub) that is on the bottom of the tank. It appears that there is a slot in the side, above the bottom, for fuel to enter the "tub". This probably prevents bottom sludge and water from...

Totally bonkers 'Miles to empty' on 2020+ Spyder - can it be fixed?

While I agree on the fact that the fuel is used to lubricate and cool the fuel pump, I contend that the pump always draws from the bottom of the tank so the contaminants are not a factor in running the fuel down low. That is why you have a fuel filter. They are always there and are sucked up...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Got the little bugger! See post 4,199.

Anyone know of an item that will allow Can Am Go navigation to broadcast instructions over the speakers?

I would run the app on your phone without the bike and see if it outputs audio turn by turn, if it does not you will never get it out of the speakers.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Went to take the Spyder out for a ride (it has been 1.5 months since my last ride) and found I have a mouse in the garage. I have not had one for several years. Everything worked ok on the bike, but my helmet liner and old BMW Airflow gloves were trashed. After a short ride, one of my FOBO...

Anyone know of an item that will allow Can Am Go navigation to broadcast instructions over the speakers?

Funny, I had the system paired to my head phones and when I set it up for BRP Go, it switched audio output to the bikes speakers. I never actually got it working, so I did not notice there was no NAV audio. I have my Garmin XT2 muted as well. I hate audio "turn here" all the time! I can see the map.

Lighting project started... 3 days ago! Anyone had any voltage issues with TricLED lights?

I have not used those lights, but I have installed a lot of TricLED products and I have had no issues with them.

2023 RTL Rider's Seat won't stay up with its new Sheepskin Cover - is there a Support Strut for it?

The BMW K1200LT was notorious for failed seat struts AND there were only OEM units available for $85, if they were in stock. So I used a split length of PVC pipe on it, until I finally found an after market unit 10 years later. Based on where the strut is on the Spyder this would not work.

Today I tried navigation via BRP Go (2024+)...

I am just the opposite, I always turn off that nagging voice.

Is there any detailed manual available for the 10.25" display system? How do you use it with your phone and headsets?

I too am an Android user and I DO pair the phone and headsets to the Spyder so I can control my music with the bikes controls and see data on what is playing on the screen as well as seeing who is calling. Although I am re-thinking this because as soon as the bike connects to the heat set my...

My Cruise control won't allow me to accelerate just by twisting the throttle - Is this normal?

I thought that was what was happening to mine on my last trip. I finally rotated the throttle far enough to go past the cruise speed to pass another vehicle and when I released the throttle it went right back to the set cruise speed.

How many miles do you have on your Spyder?

Got my 2024 RTL in Nov 24 and just turned over 4,400 on our last trip. I know I need to ride more.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Tuesday we jumped on the Spyder to head for Paducah KY for a Bob Evans run and an over night stay. Weather was nice but turned out hotter than forecast. It was good to get back home yesterday, but the Spyder did just fine on the trip. Oh and we tried the seat cushions that have been all over...

Has anyone else had Update issues from their dealer on their 2025 Spyder?

I was excited when the new release came out for us Android users but was disappointed with the BRP Go app, I'll just stick to my Garmin XT2 which I love. The other annoying part of the update in BRPGo mode is it transfers your audio to the speakers from the headset. I selected the option to...
