• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Spyder RTL gas mileage history

If I were you, I would use RPMs over MPH! You don't want to short shift your bike, the clutch system will not be happy! If it doesn't fully lock in it will be slipping and you know the outcome of that! Your owner's manual will give your target shift points.

2023 Spyder RTL-How do I view the voltmeter?

If it has one, your owner's manual is always a great place to start!

Had a New Piece of Bling Made!

Me to!!! I want a pin!!!! 🙃 I got a sun rise sticker from you years ago with a parts order it was so nice I put it right on the front air dam on my bike, it was the only sticker I displayed on the outside!! If my brother-in-in law ever brings that bike to your shop I bet, it will be there!

You may want to give him a call! Go on his website and call the shop! Good luck

Anyone near the Jersey Shore able to reset my Ryker's Transmission Service Light?

The owner manual says to hold the SET button and then toggle HI and LOW beam 3 times then release the SET button. 1 - Turn ignition ON but don't start the quad. 2 - You HAVE to be on the ODOMETER (total quad mileage) display. 3 - Put HIGH BEAMS ON. (You must start the procedure from HI BEAMS)...

Friend looking into Spyders, either a 2016 RT or a 2019 RTL with pretty close mileage & price - any advice/comments/concerns?

I would buy as new a bike as my wallet could stand! Parts are a big factor when it comes down to a break down, BRP wants you to buy new, so they stop backing the parts, so you have to! Good luck ether one will be a good bike if it's been maintained.

Any suggestions on Adding bluetooth to a 2012 RT? Is the SM10 the only way?

That would be the route I would go. It's fairly simple to install and works well; I put one in my 2012!

What do you think is the Best Full Cover For Travel? How big is the storage pouch?

I use the UltraGuard Half cover, the stuff bag is fairly small and doesn't take up much space. I also use their full cover for winter storage; they're good quality and fairly cheap.

Anyone with a new a/mkt shock Extended the self-leveling arm?

Making an adjustable dog bone is a great idea, but if you have put an aftermarket shock that has built for your riding style and weight, then you can leave your bag pretty much empty, because the shock is doing all the work now. The air bag would be used like an overload when your hauling extra...

2023 Ryker with a Final Drive Leak - what could be venting oil? Any common leak points?

Have you cleaned the final drive well and let it set and still can't tell where it's coming from? Maybe block it up and take the tire off, that will give you a better idea of where it's coming from! I am betting a seal!

Did an upgrade Sway Bar improve your handling? Which one? And what about Shocks?

I can tell you from past experience that the sway bar and shocks will play a big role in what you are dealing with; while your tires and tire pressures, wheel alignment, they all will come into play also. You need more seat time to make the transition from two-wheels to three, then start to make...

Recommend any Rear shock replacements other than the $$$ Elka's??

At the end of the day most people don't need all of the button and knobs and just want to set it and forget it! The shock and air bag in the rear work well when they work, crap when they don't, for what you spent for the bike you should have got more in my eyes. I say it doesn't make any...

Recommend any Rear shock replacements other than the $$$ Elka's??

Trust me, if you bite the bullet, you will not be disappointed in any way! I want to believe BRP has maybe seen the light after putting some great rebuildable shocks on their Canyon, and Ryker, maybe they will start doing it to the rest of the line up! The bag and shock combo are great when it's...

I bit the bullet and upgraded my 2023 Spyder RTL front suspension... Color me happy!

If you ever get a chance to drive the same bike with the mod's, give it a try, you may understand what we are all talking about. If you are totally satisfied with your ride, then it's good for you, that's great to hear!!! :cool:Enjoy!!!
