• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Apple Carplay - the good, the bad, and the really ugly

But it has to know where you are in the world, and without sat service, how would it do that? I update my maps all the time like you, but the system works off satellite location!

New 2010 Spyder owner - First issue - Check engine light

I would try running a shot of Seafoam through it, and a good ride around the back roads! It may need a set of plugs and wires; have the MAP Sensor tubes ever been swapped out?

Is there a 'Full Tank' Triangle? If so, where? '22 RT

Do you have to be careful of the evap can on the newer bike as you did the older ones? I took the can off the older bike, is it an issue on the 1330's?

    New Uhaul trailer coming?

Even if you make it up on the ramp. you want to watch the transition at the top when it flips to the deck! For the life of me why did they hang the shift actuator down below the bottom of the bike!!!! I made blocks to avoid the chance of hitting! When I get a chance, I'll get some pictures of my...

I need the Right side Chrome 'wing molding' - any ideas on where to get it?

That would be my go-to place! (y) You can try a salvage yard, but you will not know how good it is for sure 'til you get it in your hands! It may not be any better than what you have now!

Apple Carplay - the good, the bad, and the really ugly

The biggest down fall of CarPlay is that it needs a cell tower to work! When you're in a gray area, you're up the creek without a paddle. Garmin works off satellites, it's hard to hide from them! That's my take on that! Maybe I am all wet, but I would go with the Garmin.

Anyone have ceramic brake pads? Any experience with Traild ceramic pads?

I would try a set of EBC's, and there are some neat tools to buy for cleaning rims!

Anyone have ceramic brake pads? Any experience with Traild ceramic pads?

Why ceramic, what do you think you're going to gain by that? If you go with too hard of a pad, you're just going to wear your rotors out with your pads faster, not to mention heat input and all of the things that go along with it!

Apple Carplay - the good, the bad, and the really ugly

From what I have seen with my 2025 S2S, you would be better off dumping the Apple CarPlay, hooking your Garmin up, and going on with life! That whole system is in the weeds in my book! There is too much stuff going on in there, and it's dependent that the cable connection is clean and tight, and...

Has anybody fitted Dual 5” Screens Instead of Analog Gauges to their Spyder? Any advice, suggestions, or concerns?

Just unhook the gauges you have, and that info will go digital automatically on your dash/display! You can replace the gauges with filler plates or leave the old gauges there; I got the filler plates, looks great.
