• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone else been having trouble with the FOBO Bike 2 website not working?

I don't think I understand this FOBO system. It uses a website to monitor your tire pressure? You have to be connected to the web in order for it to work? What's wrong with a tire pressure gauge or a traditional TPMS system if you wish to monitor it. If that's your choice, so be it but I can't...

Malfunction of the stock direction indicator lights blinking fast - any ideas/fixes?

Not hard to check, remove the bulb/socket assembly from the tail of the bike and wiggle the bulb with the four ways on. If you have a multimeter see if there's any juice at the plug contacts being careful not to short anything out. It'll just be a blown fuse if you do but why waste a fuse LOL.

Any suggestions on good Ear protection for lowering wind noise?

I've noticed that since I've got my new windshield, the foam plugs and the bone conducting headphones are the cats behind. Up to and slightly :-) past legal speeds, I can hear the tunes perfectly.

Malfunction of the stock direction indicator lights blinking fast - any ideas/fixes?

Mine did that last week. Buddy told me my left signal and brake light wasn't working when I turned into the restaurant, can't see the indicator in the daylight so I couldn't tell. I tried it when we came out and it worked, both brakes and whichever turn I tried. Got home and tried it again, no...

Any suggestions on good Ear protection for lowering wind noise?

Somewhat pertinent to the OP question. I just installed a higher windshield, made all the difference in the world as far as wind noise goes. I now use my skid lid instead of a 3/4 helmet and have a lot less noise.

I've been Riding with two nuts! Does the wheel rotation tend to undo a lug nut if it's loose?

I've heard that now instead of the Tide pod challenge and other assorted stupid things the latest is the lug nut challenge, maybe you're a victim?

Need a low profile lift table recommendation

This what I use for mine, the small vertical piece fits between the exhaust and the center spine. The block I fit under the rear tire if I'm working on the front so it doesn't tip. If I'm working on the rear, I'll use the lift and either use my ramps under the front to stabilize it or drive it...

Taking a trip to windshield-land - what do you recommend?

That's what I used to use but it's been quite awhile since I've gotten anything out of the US and I couldn't remember when they said UPS which one was the rip off....now I know LOL.

Taking a trip to windshield-land - what do you recommend?

That was my point, went from one machine to another with no intervention at all. I remember now that years ago UPS was the worst for charging outrageous fees for nothing. It's still the same apparently. Here's a screen shot of the invoice from UPS, very wierd layout as it looks like you'd add...

Taking a trip to windshield-land - what do you recommend?

Arrived today, approximately three weeks after ordering, not bad. Windshield, 17", light smoke with no hardware including shipping to Nova Scotia was CAN $549. I think the shipping was $104 Then... about a week ago I get the additional bill from UPS, Canadian GST which I expected was CAN $63 and...

F3's Plastic panel cracked - anyone else/any ideas how? Anyone who has removed this panel have any advice?

Lets not call it solved... ummmm, let's just say, hidden, instead! LOL. I always try to answer my threads if the problem is fixed or not, it's the right thing to do.

F3's Plastic panel cracked - anyone else/any ideas how? Anyone who has removed this panel have any advice?

I ended up using a couple pieces of carbon fiber tape rather than remove it. Yes, it was the easier way out. :-)

Taking a trip to windshield-land - what do you recommend?

Ordered mine from them a couple weeks ago. Being in Canadastan, the land of taxes, duties, and other extra charges for who knows what, I don't know what the final price will be until it arrives. The communication I've had with them so far, I've been impressed.

What tips/Snags will a local motorcycle tire shop need/meet doing a Spyder Rear Tire replacement?

While we're on this subject :-). I'd have no problem taking the rear tire off but breaking the tire down and installing another is another thing, I'm clumsy around wheels as in screwing up the actual wheel/bead. Is there anything prohibitive about the front and rear wheels to prevent an...
