• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I haven't been on this forum too long but I've felt your influence. All the best.

Spyder RT with a Goldwing Engine (Not AI)

Can't beat the sound of a wing. I'm sorry I ever sold the one I had but after a couple years ownership I realized that being vertically challenged and being on a wing was not a good combo. The power was sooo smooth and it would handle awesome, like s**t to a blanket.

Can't get it back into ECO Mode - am I missing a step, or is it dealer time?

I know mine you have to hold it in for a couple of seconds for it to change before you start moving. Can't remember if the engine is running or not, but I think not... maybe! LOL. I used it when I first got mine, but after 1000 KM I turned it off and left it there.

Recommend anyone in Phoenix, AZ for Car Tire Install (Non-Kenda)

Can regular i.e. automotive tire shops deal with Spyder wheels both front and back?

What did you do to your Spyder today?

This reminded me of a question that popped into my head right after I bought my rig... and then promptly left. What would be the results of the total loss of or partial internal leakage of the specific O rings on the drain plugs and the filter stick. Dropped or complete oil pressure loss, no...

    McDonald's caviar????

That's the nether regions after it's been consumed and before you've had a chance to load up on penicillin.

    McDonald's caviar????

Haven't been to rotten Ronalds for years, ever since they started getting dirty....er than they used to be. Not to mention the prices for the regurgitated attempt at 'meat' . The caviar is probably the bit's of meat that have fallen on the floor and turned moldy and black.

Oil Leak on 2023 RTL caused by oil filter cap O-ring...

I don't like tightening the cap, I'm always scared of cracking the housing yet don't want to have a leak. To me it feels like a very chintzy design. Having a thought here, anyone think there'd be an advantage to putting a hose clamp around the top of the housing to add a bit of support to the...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Hopefully the remainder shouldn't be tight in the block. A sharp small chisel driven in lightly to act as a screwdriver I hope will work. First thing I did when I bought mine was change them out, not from fear of breaking them, which I never would have imagined happening, but rounding the hex...

Voltage going down as I accelerate, even with a new battery! Code P0562. What has happened?

12.3V should be the voltage of a battery at rest (it's a bit low actually, but close - it should be around 12.8V once the surface charge is removed). When the engine is idling, your system should be putting out somewhere in the vicinity of 14V+ depending on the state of charge of the battery ...

Exclamation Mark and Fault Code P210A on a 2023 S2S - Any ideas?

Just for the heck of it, I did a Google search on Can Am Spyder, any of this sound valid or is it a bunch of AI hooey? The P210R code on a 2023 Can-Am (likely a Spyder S2S, as indicated by forum discussions mentioning this specific code on the model) indicates a throttle actuator control system...

Complete Newbie Experiences - 2021 RT Limited

Just bought mine last year and never having ridden one before. At 70 my Kawi Voyager was getting a bit much. My first trip home from when I bought it, I was thinking to my self, "what have I done!" I couldn't keep it straight and was wandering all over the place, couldn't keep it on the road at...

What has been your experience with Tire Plug Kits?

I've used the rope type a few times but never on a bike, knock on wood, and had great success. I remember when I was younger and worked in a garage pumping gas I'd fix the odd flat; back then, that's all we used, never broke the tire down. I've heard bad things about the mushroom type, the most...

Winter Maintenance - Should I be concerned about Moisture in the Tailpipe?

If you're actually just starting the bike and shutting it off after a minute or so you're doing more harm than good. The engine isn't getting hot enough to get rid of any condensation. You're far better off plugging the tailpipe with some steel wool, leaving the tender on it, put some stabilizer...

Hope I'm not done riding my Spyder for the year?!

What... no snow tires? ;) I know what you mean. Packed mine up couple weeks ago, looking outside now they're calling for snow flurries this afternoon with snow and freezing rain middle of the week. :( I hate Winter.
