• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I built support blocks to raise the Spyder for oil changes etc.

I built something similar for mine but just the back. The front wheels I back up onto my ramps then jack the back up with my trolly jack and put the framework similar to yours under it.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Unfortunately packed mine up 'till next year, only going up to 5C today, had flurries yesterday, 15C tomorrow with heavy rain and cold temps all next week. Parked it on the bike lift, hooked up the tender, changed the oil and brake fluid last week.

There really are no alternatives to the Can Am reverse trikes

That's an understatement, ugly af for sure. I like the Honda one tho, that's a nice looking machine and you can't beat the sound neither. On second look no, I like the profile but head on not so much.

Anyone know what these things on the front wheels are?

Look like an oil filler cap, ugly my 2 cents worth LOL

Hope I'm not done riding my Spyder for the year?!

Mine's coming, but it's been delayed for a while... yes, LOL. Had a high of 18°C for the past couple days, so I'd go out whenever I had a chance, even though I'm changing my oil in prep for winter hibernation. Leaves on the road are a hazard tho. I figure a couple hundred km on the new oil over...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Took the bike out for a ride to warm up the oil before I changed it, plan on changing the brake fluid tomorrow, getting rides in whenever I can now, times getting short with the weather. Coming back home going thru the roundabout I lifted the inside tire a foot or so, guess I was going a bit too...

My Trailer Loaded for a Service Run

Really... I thought any trailer would be prone to it if loaded tail heavy, I stand corrected.

My Trailer Loaded for a Service Run

What's the weight distribution like, not too tail heavy, fishtailing?

Anyone tried brake pads other than OEM &/or EBC? Successfully, or not?

Fort Nine doesn't list 6mm, only Imperial and 7, 8, and 10mm. As for GP, nothing.

Does a first service/oil change at 500 miles sound "normal" for a 2024 RTL

I'd be doing the first oil change well under 1K. Not because of the break in oil (if these use it or not) but to get any manufacturing junk that was missed when it was assembled as well as the initial wear from new parts. My Ram when I bought it new, I did the first oil change at 2000kms I...

Anyone tried brake pads other than OEM &/or EBC? Successfully, or not?

Thanks Doug. Yeah, it's the peripherals that kill me. I just looked up a set of speed bleeders, figured I'd splurge and get away from the ole vacuum pump, only nowhere in Canada are they listed. By the time I order 3 bleeders at US $7 a pop and shipping at another US $20, I'm up to US $41 which...

Anyone tried brake pads other than OEM &/or EBC? Successfully, or not?

Wasn't looking for more material, just something comparable at a less than ridiculous price. LOL, begin with an an 'A...' by any chance :-)

Anyone tried brake pads other than OEM &/or EBC? Successfully, or not?

Let's get one thing out of the way first, I'm a cheap sob where I can be! LOL. Somebody's going to chime in, "If you want to kill yourself with inferior brakes, go ahead" I'm sure, but that's a bit melodramatic. I'm planning on changing the brake fluid and pads all round when I lay the rig up...

Don't be caught by this Scamming outfit!

I was looking for a couple of replacement visors, the inner and outer, for my older LS2 OF569 helmet. It's no longer made but it's a comfortable helmet and I like it. The visors I did find were almost as much as the whole setup so I didn't bother as the ones I had were good, I just wanted a...
