• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2024 RT L back at the dealer for the 9th time in 3 months!! How long until you give up?

I would take it to a dealer who is known to be reliable and good. Trade the damn thing in and get a new one. You will never be happy with the one you have now no matter how they say its fixed, as it hasn't been so far. Don't go to the dealer who has been working on it, as they aren't competent...

Is there a better antennae for a 2023 Spyder RT Limited?

I still use FM radio. Haven't gotten into blue toothing stuff yet. I'm still in the old ways. I get real good reception on my '22 RTL. I have no problems with it or the sound.

Battery/Starting slow spin - is this common & why doesn't it start like a normal motorcycle?

I hope your battery lasts for you. In my thinking, which isn't that great, using a lower cranking amp battery than that the Spyders used to come with (350cca) 'til BRP in their wisdom decided to not put them in Spyders anymore and went with the 300 cca batteries that don't turn them over as...

My first impressions of the 2023 Spyder RTL

If your wife is feeling buffeting, raise the windshield up just a bit more 'til the air goes up over her head. That's what I did, and it got rid of the wind buffeting my wife felt on her head. I didn't have to move it much. It helped with the wind noise in my helmet too. I always had it pretty...

Is there a better antennae for a 2023 Spyder RT Limited?

there is a short spiral antenna that you can buy from a couple of vendors that post on here; Lamonster Garage, BajaRon, canamspyderaccessories.com - Check to make sure the antenna cable is plugged in too. I'm sure someone else can tell you more.

How many of your Spouse's ride their own machines?

Wife has her '19 F3L. Doesn't ride it much anymore she been sick. She rides on the back of my RTL when we go riding.

2025 Spyder RT: Any Cautions to note before purchase?

Passenger on Spyder - there is a switch under back seat telling the Nanny a passenger is on the seat. Nanny cuts back on some settings when that's depressed, so that it is safer to help keep the Spyder under control in turns. Yes, it cuts back on power in sharp turns and taking off around a...

Rode North, then out over White Pass and back over Chinook Pass

Got the wife on the back of my Spyder and headed North out of town, where we picked up Hwy 12 West. Went up and over White Pass, no more snow up there. Kept going West to Morton and turned North. Stopped in Eatonville and had lunch. On up the road 'bout 13 miles, turned off main road and stopped...

2024 RT Limited 'Suspension Fault' messages flashing on the screen - suspension compressor or no?

@Graderman, I don't know to much about this, but on a base model you manually add air to the air bag. On the RTL or S2S, the air is automatically added to the air bag by the compressor to keep the ride hight set. On my '19 RTL, the little arm that connects to swingarm was unhooked and I got the...

New floor model 2021 F3S Special Series - has anyone installed the blinkers on the other side of the mirror??

You can buy a light that goes on the backside of the mirrors, so that cars coming towards you can see them blink. I think Lamonster has them, maybe Spyder Accessories has them too. They are tapered from narrow to wide at outer end. Should look nice on the Spyder mirrors. Well, I know they fit...

How to go about Draining the Radiators on 2020 F3S?

I believe you want to take off the radiator hose and not use the drain plug on the radiators. The drains like to break their seal and leak. Most all take off the radiator hoses.

Riding my new to me Spyder from Texas to Maine, seat won't stay up & USB port won't charge - anyone else? Any fixes/ideas/help?

Well you found out about the seat not staying up by it self. You can buy a different strut that is stronger that fits. Lamonster Garage and BajaRon I think, sell the better struts too. USB's, I don't have a clue. Anyway, enjoy your 1330 RTL. It's a nice ride.

What just happened? Two weeks old: Engine shut down, VSS Error.

Take the battery and charge it good. Then have it load tested see if the battery holds up. Get new screws - bolts and put in the end of the cable. If it all shows good then and starts fine, you should be all right. If it has the cheap Haiju battery in it, then I'd replace it with a Yuasa battery...

    Cat delete - my thoughts

I thought about putting on a cat delete but long ago I read about the nasty fumes you smell a lot of the times. That stopped me from doing the cat delete. Rather breath cleaner air and not the stinky smelly air. Some smell the exhaust and others don't. I wasn't going to spend the money and then...

    Where does this spring belong?

I'm probably way off in left field here. But to me it looks like the spring off of a clothes pin. I knew breathing all that diesel smoke would mess with my brain someday.
