• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    I put the DIY third brake light together over 4 years ago. Have one on both Spyders and the rear of the roof on my SxS. Also we put one on my Arizona riding buddies Spyder. I have one put together in Arizona that will go on Cruzin Cousin new 2014 RT S.

    Ever driven your Spyder onto a ferry?

    In Washington they load motorcycles/trikes first and and let them off first. The ramps adjust at two hinge points and at really low tides that try to not create a steep angle from the deck to the lower ramp area. We have around 14 feet from the lowest to highest tide. The moon controls tides.

    Tire search - what is everyone going to these days?

    I have AltiMax rear tires on both 2018 Spyder RTs. Neither is balanced and they run nice and smooth, RT43 on Hooker and RT45 on Hookie. Both have Vredestein Quatrac on the front and they run smooth without balancing. I would not to put a Kenda bicycle/wheelbarrow/golf cart tire on anything I own.

    Trade: Trade a short windshield on a 2014 RT S for an OEM standard height windshield

    The dealer ended up giving us the tall windshield when I was loading on the trailer to bring it home. I kind a think he got it in the trade in. The short tinted windshield is now at my step son's home in South Everett. It would be available for pick up.

    Ditch that mount and get a Garmin Zumo XT. It has a much better/readable bright sun light display than earlier models.

    What Headsets will work with 1/2 helmet & 3/4 helmets?

    I use Cardo Spirit HD intercoms, and they make a half helmet kit that is a addition mount with long mic arm built in, and a 3mm stereo connection for standard wired earbuds. I am plaining on installing these on our Ebike bike helmets so we can move the Spirit HD units back and forth.
