• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Are people throwing better shocks at their trike first, instead of better tires?

We will be in an airconditioned truck on the fall migration.

We had plans to drive the coast from Westport Washington to San Simeon next week on our return to Arizona for the winter taking 7 days and it looks like we are not going to be able to do Big Sur. We have tickets for Hearst Castle, so we will have to take 101 at Salinas to get there, and...

    Conventional vs Reverse Trike Discussion

I took the Arizona course in fall of 2020 and the Washington course on my own Spyder in Anacortes in May or June of 2021 and BRP was still sponsoring it. Washington would not accept the Arizona training because they do not do sidecar. I told the instructor that the Spyder would not drift, then...

Anyone else notice the number of low mileage used Spyders on Marketplace? Any ideas why?

I think the cost of living here in the US has an impact on a lot of people, so they are looking at things they can trim out of their monthly budget. Car, boat, and RV sales are way down. People are concentrating on essentials and trimming non essential items. It was OK for it to sit unused when...

I've changed my opinion of backrests for Spyder Riding - anyone else?

I used to be 6'4' and I am down to 6'2' as I age out. So the BRP one is great for my size.

I've changed my opinion of backrests for Spyder Riding - anyone else?

I have had one NON BRP HOPNEL backrest and two BRP backrests between the three 2018 Spyder RTs I have owned and like the OEM ones much better with their slight curve shape.

And some of the new ones stability control system was driving the riders right off the highway in to the brush. Bad injuries were reported.

    Conventional vs Reverse Trike Discussion

If a motor cycle does not cause hearing problems they do not like it. I wonder, do they trade off on who is up front(not as noisy) like birds the migrate South in the fall and North in the spring like us senior snowbirders.

    Conventional vs Reverse Trike Discussion

One of the riders in my group rode a GW Motor Trike for several years and then moved to a 2021 RTL with sway bar upgrade a couple years ago. He says the Spyder tracks better and is so much easier in stop and go traffic or a street with a lots of stop lights.

What did you do to/with your Spyder today?

@Cobranut, No fear, the Az one comes out of a buddies garage when I get there!
