• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Cannot find the Swing Arm Position Sensor Linkage for Rear wheel removal - is my sensor missing? Doesn't the 1330 powered Spyder have one?

Well Ed, I have to be blunt. you've got a misconception about how that thing goes together. There was no SOB. The first thing - the axle is hollow. That long bolt with the 22mm castellated nut that you removed, is not the axle at all. It is just the bolt that holds the hitch on. It goes through...

2025 Can Am Spyder RT Limited - Power Steering not working! Do they have to ACTIVATE this? What else needs activating?

Despite all of the replies above to the contrary, this WAS a thing with the 2025 RT and F3 units. Shipped from the factory with a software issue that prevented the DPS from operating. What your dealer was trying to say was that, during PDI, a machine needs to be hooked up to BUDS to check for...

My 2014 Spyder RT won’t go into Reverse when warmed up. Works fine when cold. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any help.

Well Jerry, as you said yourself - When the problem appears, all of the other shifts are just fine. Reverse is the only shift that is affected. There is absolutely no difference in the oil pressure required for Reverse, as there is for any other shift. It's just another movement of the hydraulic...

My 2014 Spyder RT won’t go into Reverse when warmed up. Works fine when cold. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any help.

Jerry, just in case you are new to this whole Spyder thing, and you inherited this problem, here's a pic of the thing from above. Not the best location. The bracket can get snagged or bent. Floor jack and such. So, while you're under there, you would want to just look it over to see that...

My 2014 Spyder RT won’t go into Reverse when warmed up. Works fine when cold. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi Jerry. If all of your upshifts, and all of your downshifts - except for reverse - are completely fine all the time, then hydraulics and oil pressure are probably ok. So in that case, let’s look at the components that are reverse specific. Namely, the R button and the reverse actuator. The...

How far from a wall and how high for 2015 RT Head light adjustment?

It’s all in the Operator’s Guide. Page 136. Click the link in case you don’t have one. You don’t have to be much of a tech guy to use this. https://www.operatorsguides.brp.com/M/1018

Engine Trouble - intermittently won't start! Any ideas on what to look for?

So first, completely unrelated. While you have the airbox off, on the right hand side of the engine you’ll see the two coolant lines leaving the upper portion of each cylinder and going into that large black fitting. The hose clamps right next to the engine are typically worm gear clamps. Can’t...

Where can I find this 80 Amp alternator fuse?

Hey Dog. So, I see a couple of issues here. First is that this is a 2015. it doesn't have a fusible link. There's none mentioned in the text of the manual, none on the electrical drawings, and none designated on the wiring diagram. Whatever video you saw must have been for a later model...

Where to find the RT-L Air filter - it's not where my Owner's Manual suggests!

Screen shot for Ron. The 1330 RT manuals were correct (Left Side) until 2020. They’ve said “right service cover” ever since. From the 2026 manual…..

Where can I find this 80 Amp alternator fuse?

What Spyder are you asking about? Just in case this is about a later model 1330, then what you are looking for is a fuse link, not a standard looking fuse. And left side means as you are sitting on the bike. Of course, the next question is - what's going on? It takes a lot to blow this fuse.
