• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Does anyone have/can share the BRP Emissions data sheet for a 2014 RT?

I can't believe that you are the first person/dealer who has needed to import a Can Am Spyder into New Zealand, and that they don't already know this information. Oh, Ron already said that! A little Googling shows that New Zealand Standards are tied to European Standards. A little more Googling...

24 RT with a Delay in gear upshift, but not all the time - anyone else? Any fixes?

Even the old V-Twin SE5 would do it occasionally. Typically between the 1-2 upshift. So, it's not unique to the SE6 or any clutch re-learning.

Help - new tires and wheel speed sensor errors - Limp Mode with Codes C006C, C003A, C1290, & P2159. Anyone else? Any advice?

So, coincidently, here is a 2015 RT at Pro-Caliber with ABS sensor issues. Is this your Spyder in this video? If so, then the original issue was that the ABS trigger ring is completely missing. If you did the work, then you know who is responsible for that. Talk about having left over parts...

Help - new tires and wheel speed sensor errors - Limp Mode with Codes C006C, C003A, C1290, & P2159. Anyone else? Any advice?

It may sound pretty far-fetched, but Smoak had an RT come in the other week, (yours?) where the person that did the tire change/rotor change, didn’t put the ABS sensor ring (tone ring) back on the wheel. Only had a brake rotor on in. So there’s that. Otherwise, as Ed said, the dealer was BS’ing...

What are these Brake pad "liners" called and where can we order new ones?

I’m sorry Ron. But the rotors on the Spyder changed in 2013. That’s a picture ( above) of the Brembo logo taken right from my right front rotor on my Spyder. It would be pretty ballsy of them to counterfeit the Brembo trademark on an outsourced product from someone else, don't you think? I think...

A strange problem - engine stumbling and idling rough, now all sorts of codes - any ideas?

Hey Hawk. We may not be able to fix it here, and I don't necessary KNOW transmissions, but long before you had any codes and long before you had a battery get fried, you had a dragging clutch. I think that we can all agree on that. You didn't mention otherwise so I assume it's still dragging...

No bright headlights, dims work fine - any ideas?

Appreciate the follow up. It’s always the simplest reason, right? You’ll love LEDs. (y)

What are these Brake pad "liners" called and where can we order new ones?

You have two 2013 Spyders. Starting in that year, BRP put the Brembo brake system on these machines. Calipers, pads and rotors. Most consider Brembo to be the best braking system on the planet. Thus, starting in 2013, there is no such thing as BRP pads and BRP rotors. They are Brembo calipers...

No bright headlights, dims work fine - any ideas?

Still, I’d do the bulbs first. Good luck.

No bright headlights, dims work fine - any ideas?

The OP very clearly said that when he selects Hi beam, that both headlights go OUT. Obviously, can't be a shutter problem. The F3 doesn't have shutters, anyway. The 2018 F3L North America version - utilizes a duel filament bulb and two relays. One for Hi Beam and one for Low beam. When Hi beams...

Anyone know what is in the Air Damper "Kit"?

Maybe you guys should just Google things first... the bag and a fitting is a "kit". Don't assume anything. You know what they say about that... https://leadersrpmshop.com/can-am-new-oem-spyder-rts-air-dampener-kit-219800175/?srsltid=AfmBOoq0jarAULFhW9wjYhoA-jn0Lso1X-zhf_cyaoxoY0OpAZV96bn0 Now...

Is 15.4v while the engine is running good for Battery charging?

Well, ok. One more word, if the battery is dead or almost dead, don’t use your motor as a battery charger. It’s a magneto on yours, not an alternator. It causes high current out of your stator for a prolonged period of time, and can result in overheating and stator failure. Bring the battery...

Is 15.4v while the engine is running good for Battery charging?

Before you get to carried away, is there any more to the story? Folks don't typically just randomly check on their battery voltage. Plus, you need to test the charging system the correct way. First and foremost, remove your battery connections and make sure that the contact area is clean...
