• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Where are you from? Where do you live?

    * Northwestern Minnesota 50 miles east of Fargo North Dakota. * Our frigid winters keep the *riffraff* away. * With only 5 to 6 months of riding weather, we have plenty of time during winter to service our machines.

How do you get on your F3 limited

I too have *The Ultimate F3 Spyder Floorboards*. For me, and my pillion, they have proven to be worth EVERY dollar spent. They make mounting and dismounting sooo much easier on our F3 Limited. They are of a very high quality to boot.

Has anyone replaced their OEM Grips with aftermarket?

With my Leather Likes, I wear Held (brand) ventilated gloves every warm weather ride, and like you, I've never had a problem with sweaty palms. And, yes, in summer, it DOES get HOT here in NW Minnesota where I live.

Has anyone replaced their OEM Grips with aftermarket?

For the past four years, I've been using Lamonster's "Leather Like Grips". I like their smoothness meaning there is no texture to them and no worries about them getting wet as water rolls right off. Like other brands, they are fairly easy to slide over the oem grips with the right lubricant such...

About to pull the trigger on a 2023 or 2025 Spyder RT Dark - what am I really paying for? Any other major considerations on differences?

    * If you like a Digital Touch Screen dash, you'll like the 2025. * If not, the "simpler" dash on the 2023 is your other, more "rational" choice in my view. * Let us know what decision you make.

    Spyder vs Georgia State Patrol

PHEW! What a craaazy ride! Seems to me the Patrol chasing him made it MORE dangerous than it needed to be.

FYI - HCM Oil Filter Change

    * It IS a fact that you don't need BUDS for replacing the HCM filter. I know, as many others have known, having changed the filter ourselves. * The dealer's tech, demo-ing the RT, might say that as the dealer will charge an extra fee for plugging in the BUDS system.

Any time limit on changing HCM filter during oil change? Is a 10 y/o filter good for a few more years?

That's my photo of the cut apart HCM filter. The filter is usually a part of the 28K mile service. With your mileage, you have a long way to go before it'll need to be changed. As you know, it's a $125 filter.
