• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I didn't see anything new except some new colors.

    Random thought for the day

Some of us do and some of us don't. I do.

    F3 Limited first impressions

I hated using my phone on the handlebars. Bought a Carpuride and much happier with it. It's much easier to use and have multiple windows with Waze and Spotify running.

Would you pay full price on a '25 F3S this late in the year?

Personally, I would wait at least until the 2026 model announcements in August. Just in case there was anything worth waiting for. And then Can-Am usually announces rebates for the previous model year, so you can get a better deal.

Where are you from? Where do you live?

I would love to do that but I can't seem to get my wife to agree.

What's YOUR Number One Favorite, Model & Year, of Spyder you'd own given the chance?

IMHO, anything model year 2020 or newer. RT changed in 2020 and the new ones have better ergonomics. F3 hasn't changed that much other than displays. Personally I prefer the F3. The RT seating position is too high for my likes but the RT has more storage in the frunk. So it will depend on...

Weird story time!! White smoke and it smelt like wood burning!?

I started up my gas grill yesterday. A mouse came running out along the grid and the new nest underneath caught fire. How did I know it was a new nest? Because I just did the same thing two weeks ago! Gotta find a good way to keep them out for good.

2024 RT L back at the dealer for the 9th time in 3 months!! How long until you give up?

I think if I were the OP, at this point I would try to find a way to make a deal with the dealer to replace the bike with a different one, new or used. Even if it cost me a grand or two out of pocket, it would bring me peace of mind to be rid of the bike that you will always be wary of. Long...

Where are you from? Where do you live?

From Connecticut, with a second home in Maine. What's great: four seasons of weather, able to ride most of the winter. But when it's too cold for the Spyder, we go snowmobiling in Maine. Great riding area and curvy hilly roads. CT is more suburban and rural than you might think. A lot of small...

Recommend any Rear shock replacements other than the $$$ Elka's??

It will be interesting to see what price point BajaRons' shocks come in at. At this age of life I've learned that you pretty much get what you pay for. Edit: after initially posting this comment, I looked at BajaRons' website and saw the price for the front shocks. Certainly not cheap but...

Considering a Spyder - Can I Ask You Some Questions?

I guess that depends if it's a private sale vs through a dealer with some additional warranty. I see a couple on FB Marketplace in the $24 to $25K range.

    Spyder vs Georgia State Patrol

God bless the police officers showing restraint in the arrest. I don't have the temperament. I would have broken some bones...

Considering a Spyder - Can I Ask You Some Questions?

Have your wife sit on the passenger seat on both the F3 and the RT. For some reason my wife prefers the F3. And I much prefer the F3 driver's position over the RT.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

I have re-installed my cat delete. Although my wife was enjoying the quieter ride with the stock catalytic converter, I noticed again how much heat it throws off compared to the cat delete. She said it was okay to put the cat delete back on, the sound isn't too much louder and she wanted me to...

    Interesting Throttle Mod Video

Well he certainly didn't hold back on the rhetoric! That was rather entertaining. Unfortunately it doesn't appear that they make the product for Spyders. I have a Pedal Commander and am very happy with it, and it has never caused a problem or codes on my bike.
