• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is it possible to do an Oil Change without a lift?

This drain pan fits under the Spyder without having to lift it, and it is wide enough to catch the oil from both drain plugs at the same time. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DFKJ3C9N?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_1&th=1

New member, thanks for having me - and where's a good place to get these things?

Welcome to our Spyder world Mike! BTW my name is also Mike. I have a 2020 F3 I bought brand new and now have just over 50,000 miles on it. When I first got the F3 it only came with the gauge spoiler so finding a good windshield was critical. I tried a couple of the shorter windshields and...

Looking for a trustworthy dealer in the Westchester, NY, area for new Can-Am - any recommendations?

I see a lot of them here in CT. Our FB group has almost 200 members although only about the same 12 or 15 people show up for rides. They are more common than you think. We almost always see other Spyders when we are out riding.

Looking for a trustworthy dealer in the Westchester, NY, area for new Can-Am - any recommendations?

It might be a little farther than you want to go, but Land N Sea in Waterbury CT is my dealer, the sponsor of our US Spyder Ryder's chapter, supplies the machines for the three wheel classes, and is very very knowledgeable with Spyders. PM me and I can give you more details.

Cannot get the rear seat off; and not getting power thru rear trunk USB Power Port - any ideas?

Deeferdog, I'm also located in CT and I am the president of the US Spyder Ryders Connecticut Chapter. I lead rides almost every week, weather permitting, and we ride all year round. If you're on Facebook you can find our chapter and join. If not, PM me here. We have a ride to Point Judith...

Will changing out the front shocks help prevent lifting one front wheel in tight corners?

Also make sure that your passenger is leaning into the curves as you do. We were out for a ride yesterday and my friend following us commented that my wife was a good rider! Always leaning the right way.

My search for the perfect oil funnel? What's yours?

This is funny. I have pretty much the same collection of funnels. I'm thinking of cutting down the blue one so oil flows a little faster.

    Happy Birthday

Yesterday was my birthday. I had a lot of friends wish me Happy Birthday on Facebook, went for a good Spyder ride with a friend, and then went out for barbecue dinner with my family. Got home and opened cards and a couple of small gifts and had birthday cake. A really nice birthday!

A word of warning about 2024 and newer RT and F3 handlebars!

It's strange that they would do that. Thanks for the info.

M2 shocks closing doors in 2 weeks! Announced 1st week of Sept '24.

My shock rebuilder responded. He hasn't done M2 shocks specifically so he doesn't know if he has the right seals for them. You would have to send the shocks to him to look at. Also I found out that the Fox Podium front shocks on the F3-S are rebuildable.

M2 shocks closing doors in 2 weeks! Announced 1st week of Sept '24.

I've sent an email to my shock rebuilder to see if this is something he can do. I'll let you know as soon as he responds.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

I just completed a big Spring refresh on my 2020 F3-S with just over 48,000 miles. Since my wife is now retired along with me, we'll be doing a lot more touring together, and I wanted to get the bike back to 100%. I found that one of my front shocks was leaking oil so I replaced that with a...

F3 Base - Rear shock bottoms out (stationary) with my passenger onboard. I'm shock illiterate, what do I need in a shock?

I put an Elka Stage 5 with hydraulic preload adjustment on my F3. But I weigh a little over 200 lbs and my passenger only weighs 150 lbs. I don't know if the preload can be set up for the kind of weight disparity range you're looking at. You'll need to talk to Elka. Otherwise, I suggest...

Does anyone know the 2021 F3S Fox Podium Shock (Front) Preload Adj. Spanner wrench size? Suppliers?

I got a set of them on Amazon. Search for shock spanner wrench. The one that fits the best is labeled ER40. Using two together you can break the jam tension between the nuts.
