• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How to go about Draining the Radiators on 2020 F3S?

I'm searching for radiator flush guidance, it's a '20 F3S, everything I'm seeing (not much) is talking about removing the frunk. I haven't crawled under it yet, but sometime this summer, I want the fluid changed.

How should I drain the radiators?

My 2015 had no drain plugs.
I removed the frunk interior and the grille, followed by the undertray, and disconnected the left lower radiator hose to drain the system.
I repeatedly flushed with distilled water, warming the engine until the thermostat opened, until I got clear water out.

To refill, I checked the manual for the proper capacity, added half that amount in Peak Final Charge PRO concentrate, and finished filling with distilled water. This method accounts for any distilled water left in the system after draining.

I did have an air lock after the final fill, and had to drain a couple ounces from the bleed valve at the front right of the cylinder block to resolve it.
It helps to have a way to monitor engine temp, as you can spot the temp getting high before the factory gauge moves. I used my DynoJet PV4 to monitor.

The 2018
RT Service manual says to remove the Right Hand lower radiator hose to drain coolant. That is like the passenger side on a car/truck, Mayube the F3 is different.

They're teed together, so it really doesn't matter.
The LH hose was a bit easier to disconnect for me.
When the majority is drained, you can jack up the other side to get a bit more out.
The point of flushing with distilled water is that it doesn't matter if there's a bit left, as long as the final mixture is right.
