• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is there a paper Shop manual?

I think it's only a PDF.
The website recommends printing it and putting it in a 3-ring binder. I wouldn't do that.

But I would print the pages I need for a particular service I need to perform. That way when they get all oily and greasy while I'm working, I can just toss them in the recycle bin when I'm done.

And print a clean copy of what I need for the next service.

That is what I do. I print the pages I'm going to use. If serviceable when done, I 3 hole punch them and put them in a binder.

There is a paper shop manual! I Hope so anyway, because I've just bought one from California - it's in ring binders.

Now waiting on its arrival here in the UK.

I'm not aware of any place you can buy a printed copy of the shop manual.
I know that my dealer has paper copies.

I know where you can buy and download an Acrobat PDF copy of the Shop Repair and Maintenance manual.
The benefit of an electronic copy is that you can print the pages you need to do a specific task, and use them until they get so greasy and dirty that you can't read them anymore, and then just pull up the electronic copy and print new pages.

And I wonder how much difference there is between a US Ryker and a UK Ryker.

Another difference between paper and digital (PDF) is a big one for me. The ability to search/find for keywords.
