Has anyone heard any rumors about a new 1600 engine for 2027 Spyders?

It is always great to hear rumors, and with the emergence of AI, they are doing so much with redesigns it is crazy. But I don't see them going with a different drivetrain for a long time. Heck, they won't even change the design of the outdated (but still nice) F3 platform. And although a shaft drive would be nice, going with a 1600 would take away any real world power increase feeling since the parasitic loss would be too great. And 115 hp is nothing for a belt driven vehicle. They are able to handle much more than 115 hp.

Can Am is afraid of power, they'll never do it. Hence, why they de-tune everything!

Maybe its just me but the 1330 engine in my 2021 RT seems just fine. I still can beat out most cars from a stoplight to get ahead of the traffic, I have no problem riding at 80+ on the Interstate, and I very rarely need or want to be going over the 105 mph that I have done with my RT. I rode 2 wheelers for 40 years before going to the Spyder, with my last real motorcycle before the Spyder being a 2016 Goldwing ABS. If, as some here have indicated, a much larger engine would involve building the Spyder as a much larger vehicle, I would question whether it would be worth it. At some point it would be hard to even convince the CanAm loyalists that such a beast is still a motorcycle.
