• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Trading in my Ryker, it's time for an F3-T - what issues should I be looking for/concerned about?

I'm likely trading my 2019 Ryker 900 Ace (24,000 miles) for a 2017 F3 T (5100 miles). It will absolutely need new tires as the original, stock Kendas are on it and pushing 10 years old by the date code. I've read the many posts and will be putting car tires on it, if purchased.

What issues should I look for/be concerned about when viewing and test riding this bike?

Thanks for any help you offer to make sure I'm not purchasing a problem.
 
I started off with a 2019 Ryker Sport, traded that in for a 2023 F3S, now I've got a 2025 F3T. I haven't had a single problem with her, my She Beast is in hibernation in my basement/garage until Spring.
 
If it's at a dealer get them to give you a BUDS2 report printout. If it's private party, make sure the oil was changed at the 3000 mile mark. If you've only ever ridden a Ryker, you will likely think the F3 is lower performance at first. Give yourself time to get used to it and you won't miss the Ryker! Also, there are quite a few ways to improve the performance of a stock F3 when you're ready. I absolutely recommend good car tires. Search the forums here and you'll find enough info to keep you reading for years!

My Ryker had M2 shocks all the way around, and that was the best money I ever spent. So shocks will probably be one of the first upgrades I would consider. Since the dealer (non Can Am) probably won't improve the trade value, I removed the M2s yesterday and re-installed the factory shocks.

When doing the BUDS check, that should let you know if the front pulley recall has been done. Other than that, you should love it. With it being a 2017 F3T, you also get the larger rear sprocket that helps with accelleration.

I would start off with an upgraded sway bar before moving to shocks. If you want more throttle response, a Pedal Commander or Pedal Box will help that.
