• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Recall for failure to shift into reverse - 2024 RT Limited

My dealer contacted me to let me know that there is a recall from Can-Am to replace the reverse actuator. In hot weather, the bike may not shift into reverse. Not all will have the problem, but all can be updated at no cost. My 2024 had that problem today as the temps got above 97° F. Once it cooled down, it worked again. Mine will be going in for the fix this week.

My 2024 S2S had the issue in April 2025 in the cold and BRP also changed it under warranty.
It’s a known issue by BRP, with a service bulletin here in Canada, not sure it’s an official recall elsewhere

Yeah, these documents frequently get smashed together and referred to on-line as "recalls". When actually, an official Recall is fairly rare.

This is a Warranty Campaign. Only applies if an owner has experienced the problem. See Note at top of first page. Not fixed universally. If a dealer is getting a bit "flexible" with that, then good for him. The Mother Ship has identified a known problem and given pre-approval to the dealers to do the work under a warranty claim. 2024 owners should also make note of the expiration date.
