• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Has anyone successfully used a heat-resistant paint for Painting their Spyder's side panels?

This is outstanding. Thanks Deanna!
Per Google, the dash on the Spyder is ABS (see below), whereas in post #9, @TheMariner says those panels you want to paint are probably some sort of PolyPropylene.

The dashboard and trim panels on the 2014 Can-Am Spyder RT/RTL are primarily made of ABS plastic (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene), though some surrounding interior or body components may use polypropylene (PP). [1]
Community maintenance and restoration discussions on platforms like the SpyderLovers Forum generally identify the gauge trim and dashboard housing as ABS plastic, which makes it suitable for painting and plastic repairs if proper ABS-compatible primers are used. [1]

The only way to know what the material is for sure is to check the material code on the back of the part. Until you do that we, incl. Google, are just guessing.
