• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is your F4 Customs Windshield any better than Stock? For Pillion too?

Buffeting on the pillion rider often is caused by backdraft, which seldom is solved with a taller windshield, in my experience. Have you tried it with a pillion rider yet?

Shouldn't you wait until after your wife tries it out?

Will Charging the Camper's Battery off my Spyder overload the Alternator

:agree: I think the alternator will put out what it puts out, which may or may not be sufficient to provide full charging amps to both batteries and run lights at the same time. Intriguing idea, actually; I'm interested in how it turns out.

How to kill off electric vehicles

It's not the use of fossil fuels that has to decrease; it's the burning of them without being able to capture the resulting harmful pollutants before they reach the atmosphere. We have had over 100 years to solve that problem, without success, so now it's time to shift to clean propulsion and...

As I understand the video, LK-99 is claimed to act as a superconductors at ambient temperature and pressure, thus making possible quantum leaps in computing power, thus possibly leading to breakthroughs in quantum physics, thus possibly leading to levitation. How to kill off electric vehicles

I respectfully disagree that government is shoving EVs down our throats, in the US, Europe or India. That's just the direction the world is moving finally (away from a dependency on fossil fuels), for several reasons, not the least of which is to free democracies from a dependency on Russia and...

How to kill off electric vehicles

I'm hoping in 5 years they have resolved the issue of range with EVs, as well making a base model electric minivan, in which case I might be interested in turning in my 2018 GMC Canyon Duramax and buying the minivan. Until then, I'll stick with the truck. As far as motorcycles, I've got too much...

How to kill off electric vehicles

I get it that Lithium batteries have some issues to be resolved, but so did internal combustion engines when they started replacing steam engines. I prefer to look forward and believe engineering problems can and will be solved by smart people, as they have been since the invention and evolution...

How to kill off electric vehicles

I remember a time when rumors were going around that someone had invented a device to easily double the gas mileage of an ICE vehicle, but the oil companies bought the patent to keep it off the market. There's always some conspiracy theory or other going on about how cars can be improved for the...

2022 F3 - can I run QuadLocks USB into Y splitter without killing the battery?

I'm not familiar with the device you're talking about, but: 1. The load will be the same whether you use a splitter or a splice 2. Rain shouldn't be an issue unless the usb port is pointed upward
