• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Can I Transfer my Lamonster train horn from an F3 Limited to an RT Limited?

You posted this twice. Yes, the Motohorn can be installed on the RT. The trumpet goes across the front below the headlights behind the black trim panel.

Can I Transfer my Lamonster train horn from an F3 Limited to an RT Limited?

Yes, the Motohorn will fit the RT as well. On the RT it is mounted across the front below the headlights and just behind the black trim panel. Compressor goes where the factory horn is located on the left inside the control arms from below.

Is there any Owner affordable BUDS?

Wrong direction, opening up a whole new can of worms. Lithium battery NOT recommended on Spyders. Much smaller storage capacity and thus requires a battery tender full time.

    Ultimate Dealer GREED!

Well that is worse than GREED, that is Fraud and is a crime.

    Ultimate Dealer GREED!

Yes, he is cheaper, but his overhead is lower, and your BRP dealer is REQUIRED to use genuine BRP Parts. The cost at my shop is similar to his, but my labor rate is a few $$ more, likely due to higher insurance rates in Houston. Dealer labor rates are now over $200 an hour and I promise you...

    Ultimate Dealer GREED!

There is more to an oil change service than draining and filling the oil. All fluids are checked and topped off, brakes checked at all 3 wheels, tire pressures checked, all hoses checked, drive belt condition, tension and alignment, drive sprockets, check and lube all latches and hinges, clean...

2025 Spyder Sea 2 Sky - Where is the Dedicated GPS Power Plug-in?

That is not how ACP works. The screen image you see, the full maps and menu, is generated by the phone and passed over the USB (or wifi for wireless ACP) live. It's not passing just location information. Its also sending the full stereo audio tracks over the same connection. This is why ACP...

    Ultimate Dealer GREED!

What would you consider an appropriate charge for a full service shop to charge? I will admit $400 is more than we charge but I am willing to bet the dealer's labor rate is higher than mine as well. And when you answer, tell us how you come up with that cost. Retail on the BRP Oil Change kit...

No Customer accessory circuits on 2026 F3 Ltd? Where/how can I connect accessories?

Its there, I just installed a GPS unit and mount for an owner recently on a 26. Exact same location as on my 24, and my 15 before that.

And $6 diesel fuel.... I drove a diesel truck for 4 decades since college. Sold my Excursion last year and will likely never own another diesel vehicle. The economics no longer make sense for most.

    Ultimate Dealer GREED!

If you really think that pricing is GREED, you should try owning and operating a motorcycle centric shop for a while. NO ONE is getting rich at those middle of the road and routine prices. The shop supplies add on is a bit high for a half hour labor but other than that, its all well in line...

No Customer accessory circuits on 2026 F3 Ltd? Where/how can I connect accessories?

For 24+ the GPS power connector is still where its always been, left side, rear of the fuel tank, below the seat and behind the body panel. Just FYI, the wiring harness provided is plenty long enough to re-route the connection up under the dash where the old customer accessory circuit was.

Does this Ultra Plus Full Synthetic 10W40 oil work for our Spyders?

Have to order full cases. Do not remember if that is 6 or 12 to a case.

Does this Ultra Plus Full Synthetic 10W40 oil work for our Spyders?

Rotella quarts are available from Shell Lubricants but very few retailers stock them. We do at our shop but mostly for customers that want to carry a spare quart on board. While on the subject, are others also seeing the shortage of available Rotella at the moment due to the Iran war issues...

Any advice on adjusting toe on the front wheels? Is the job doable without BUDS?

Lots of good discussion here. There was a bit above about toe in changing as the front wheels move up and down. This is true. As the front suspension is loaded, the toe in DECREASES. The twitchiness happens as well as steering upset in corners when the toe transitions from toe in to toe out...

Looking for Navigation options besides ACP - What do you recommend?

The Mapbox app CANNOT create routes. Period. it only does destinations and calculates its own routes. No allowance for shaping points or timing. Even the mobile versions of Google Maps, both Android and Apple cannot create routes. Google maps for web can but its useless on the road. At the...

Does this Ultra Plus Full Synthetic 10W40 oil work for our Spyders?

Yes. The Amsoil 10/40 MCF got rid of the alternator clutch shaft squeal on my 2024 F3S. I will continue running the Amsoil as a result. We also now stock it along with Rotella for the shop.

2026 S2S transmission failure - Anyone else having similar issues?

Sounds like the clutch is letting go while riding. Actually shifting from 6th to N would be 5 shifts as this is a sequential transmission and there is no path to get from 6th to N without going through all the other gears. The clutch is held clamped by oil pressure through the HCM (hydraulic...

Malfunction of the stock direction indicator lights blinking fast - any ideas/fixes?

Shot in the dark here but I have seen the problem several times. Remove the front wheels and check the wiring harness to the front fender turn signals. Many were not routed correctly and the tire rubs them in two and either breaks the connection or worse, causes a high resistance short from the...
