• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ball Bearings & Metal Ring Found in Engine Oil During 3K Mile SVC - Help!

Bummer..... All of the above..... there will be damage as well as possibly more ball bearings and parts in there so they will have to pull the whole thing apart and inspect it all. A new engine would be the way to go. Would start pressing for a case number and follow up on the progress towards...

    Smoothspyder tensioner installed

It will.... I have a 2012 RS and the smoothspyder tensioner has been on it since I got it 7 years ago. Has worked great and keeps you running smooth. It also keeps the belt tight to the sprocket not allowing any slop which has the benifit of keeps most debris out from between the belt and the...

My opinion on the f3 versus the RT even th

Thanks for the comparison.... It's a comfort and handling thing for sure. All other features are similar and what's missing from one or the other can be added or modified to suit ones needs. As mentioned above, one is more full touring and the other is more of a sport/touring and sadly the...

    Rear wheel bearings

With tire change unless..... One should check them with each tire change as it is the easiest and best time to do so. If you develop some belt issues and vibrations issues you should check them. Most issues with the bearings come from belt tension and adjustment so keep those done properly and...

    Bike will not start

Interesting....🤔 From year and mileage I would agree it is in the battery connections or battery was not serviced correctly. Simple test would be a jump start with say a known good battery or the car with the engine off. The DPS is the biggest consumer of electrical power and not strange it...

    New to spyder but concerns

Relax..... As with any high tech system they are designed to prevent and save costly repairs or damage. There are different degrees of limp mode. Some times it will just be the screen but the Ryde continues and after the computers reset it all clears away. If it is considered more serious you...

    spyder RT vs F3

Test ryde is needed.... Good info above and you now know some of the differences. The drive train is the same on both but the cosmetics, storage, seating is the big difference. Will say the best would be for both of you to take a test ryde on them and see which better suits your ryding comfort...

Review: Should I Keep Her or Trade Her

choices, choices If you have in mind to trade now it will only get to be more what you want to do. Once you start thinking about it ..... well that's it..;) Now as to what to go with... With the pricing of the new RT's I would go with one of them but then what will your budget stand...?? There...

    Sport grips DIY install?

Interesting....🤔 Quite an array of products mentioned for removal and installation. I have found over the years of changing grips on dirt, road, watercraft and atv's the best to remove is using a compressor and a rubber tipped air gun. Thing is not everyone has a compressor in their...

Oh, Come On! Part Of Front Fender Somehow Broke Off

Defective.... From what has been said here it is looking more like an injection problem at production of the plastic part. May be in a particular lot may be random. Something to watch for and see if there are more happening....
