• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Spray Cleaner

I have to change my story thanks to all the posts... this past weekend I picked up some Honda Pro Spray & Wax Cleaner... wow!!! Waaaaayyyy better than the Meguiar's I had been using and seems to be the same as the FW1 I had mentioned, but at 25% of the cost!! Great stuff, love the shine...

    Spray Cleaner

My father-in-law turned me on to FW1 (http://www.fw1shine.com/) and it works great and has carnuba wax in the compound. The only downside is it's about $20 per can and I have to order it... can't find it in any stores. Because I was in need of some recently and didn't order any of the FW1, I...

    it only takes a second

I'm so glad you came out okay! Our prayers are with you! I absolutely, whole-heatedly, agree with full-face helmets. I live in Texas, so it gets hot, but not hot enough to chance my mental capacities in a wreck! In fact, I would go a step further and say we should all be wearing DOT and...

Exhaust Wrap - Need Last Minute Advice

Thank you... that is a big confidence boost to have BajaRon endorse doing so!! Quick question... why do you start at the back? Most threads I've read start at the header. I bought 50' of 2" wrap. Yeah, I've heard it's a bit of a pain and will chew up your knuckles a bit. Which is why I...

Exhaust Wrap - Need Last Minute Advice

It's the stock exhaust. From my research stainless steel pipes are fine, but there had been question about double walled pipes, which one person thought the Spyders were.

Exhaust Wrap - Need Last Minute Advice

I live in Texas and the temps are already in low 90's. So, after my research of past forums about how the Spyders run hot, I'm ready to wrap my exhaust. After calling my dealer, they stated, "cooler is always better for the Spyders", but I didn't get any definitive advice. I have a 2013 STS...

****SpyderQuest 2014**** Registration, Itinerary and Website now open

Should I Go??? Good morning from Texas! I'm considering SpyderQuest, but am hoping you can provide a bit of perspective. This would be a 1,800 mile journey to get there, and as this is the first year I've had a Spyder and would be the first event I've gone to, I'd like to get your opinion...

SpyderQuest 2014 ** Dates and Official Host Hotel Info **

SpyderQuest from Texas I'd like to go... my wife and I have family in NY! Are there any riders heading out of Texas, or anyone we can hook up with and ride along with on that long journey north? Google says we will be going through Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, a bit of Pennsylvania...

    Desperate for backrest measurements

I have a 2013 STS and added a SmoothSpyder backrest. I just went out and measured from the front of the seat to the middle of the backrest and it is 32". Now, there are a couple of tweaks you can do further, depending on your objectives. With the SmoothSpyder backrest you can move the seat...

    ST Driver Backrest

SmoothSpyder Backrest I just recently bought and installed a SmoothSpyder backrest. The main reasons I bought this one over an OEM, etc. is that 1) it keeps the sporty look of the bike, 2) it's adjustable for both driver and passenger. I use it quite a bit solo and it works fantastically... I...
