• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Mandatory Addition to Spyder Enjoyment

High post count can be deceiving. The most knowledgeable and helpful contributors on this forum have much lower post counts than the one with a high post count who regularly posts jokes, cartoons, memes, music video clips, and technical advice copied from other peoples posts. Some of the...

    RT GAUGES GONE

I took out the temp gauge, tapped into the existing positive and negative wires for the voltmeter and slid it into place. 52mm fits perfectly. Pam

    RT GAUGES GONE

When I disconnected mine, I filled it up first so at least the dead analog gas gauge is stuck on full. I put a Voltmeter in place of the temp gauge on the right. One of these days I'll yank that dead fuel gauge and replace it with something, like a clock that actually keeps time. Pam

    Changing horn

Finless has a model prior to 2014 (2012 I think??) and the installation is completely different. It's way easier on the 2014 and later. Pam

    Changing horn

On the 2015 RT the horn is easily accessable by removing the left side lower panel. I replaced mine with a VERY loud Stebel air horn. I think on the 2010 it's a bit more difficult to get to, so I'll let those owners comment on that. Wherever it is, I do recommend the Stebel. Pam

Considering 2014 used RT Limited - please help

That's a nice looking Spyder. To partly answer your question, I have a 2015 RT which I've had for going on 14 months and have ridden 21,550 miles with no issues. The only thing that people say about the 2014 is that the tires don't last long, but if that's the only problem you have, tires...

    Mpg

I average 35 MPG on my 2015 RT. That equates to a range of around 200 miles before all the bars are gone on my gas gauge. The farthest I have ever dared to go is 210 miles. Pam

    another tire issue

Your rear tire should be 28 PSI. I think the excessive wear in the center may be partly due to over inflating. You also may have gotten part of that extra soft batch of tires that many have discussed here. I had over 14,000 miles on my rear tire when I switched to a car tire. I kept it at a...

    Swaybar and Fox Podium Shocks?

From the "For What it's Worth" file.... Personally, I would just get the BajaRon sway bar for now, ride it awhile and see what you think before you spend more money on shocks, unless the package deal is too good to pass up. I'm sure both mods will help, but if you get them done at the same...
