• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New Video from F4 Customs on RT Windshields

I want considered a new windshield but after watching, I may like to have the largest one with the vent. I do not like the back pressure and my wife complains of the buffeting. My only concern is that the MPG may take a bit of a hit with more front surface

    GPS Choice

My first 2011 came with a 660 and now my 2015 has a 590. I love it!! Beware of the curvy road route planning - it can make a very short ride a very long one!

    downdhift/lunging

I originally had a 2011 that I bought from a gentleman with 200 miles on it. I always had terrible lunging at all downshifts. I thought it was normal. It wasn't until I took a test ride of a later model that I learned that it was not right!! I had Smoak ride it and learned that the clutch...

Nedd a 12 Volt Hookup by the Seat

I noticed the tech at our local dealership hooks the leads to the alternator under upper side panel on left side of bike. We needed to change a fuse on s friends bike at Red Rock Rally and found the plastic needed to be removed. If I used that location I would make sure fuse location was...

Anyone ever had experience with one of these ?

I used one with mt BMW LT for years. It was great and held surprising amount of stuff. Loved how it leaned and followed the bike. I do not think I would want one for the spyder, though. I did love it how I could just roll it onto the motel room at night

    GPS Mount on RT Help

I have had two ltd models. I added a second Garmin cradle on the dash/cowl top. I left the OEM one on the starring center and when I removed the Tupperware, I could see where to attach the wiring. Leave OEM alone and tap in where necessary (two power cables).

How do I lift my Spyder?

I use the J&S jack with the Spyder adapter that was made for the 15 RT. It is truly a very secure and very maneuverable jack while the spyder is lifted. There is even a oil drain pan that goes into the jack that catches the oil from both drain plugs at one time.

making oil change cleaner ... 1330 RT

I am due for an oil change on my 2015 RT. Last time, even after watching Smoak's videos, there was a mess with oil tracking onto the plastic panels underneath. I used my J&S jack with spyder adapter as well as the oil diversion pan. Before I started the change, I trimmed the openings that the...

    compressor leaks question

Be sure to check "under" the airbag itself. I got into some fresh chip seal, popped five holes in my belt & on replacement we found about 10 very sharp chips under the air bag that would have worn holes in the bag - eventually!

    Newbie questions.

You need to be on the bike, bike running, brake on and in gear before pressing the buttons. Check it or better yet have some body else measure rear lower fender tip while you make adj. Amount of adj changes depending on weight on the bike.

    Pakit Rak

I am still using mine. It comes in handy when going for long day rides. I usually use a trailer for extended rides/trips. If you do not use it, sell it and let the new owner get the necessary adapters

Red Rock Spyder Rally of Southern Utah Wrap-up

not enough room for comments. Don't sell tickets for a 50/50 and then change it to a 50/25/25. Provide ride maps in packets. The ride table volunteer would not give a map unless I was actaully signed up for a ride! Seminars as Garmin, tupperware removal, etc... would be nice
