• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Looking at a 2011 Can-Am Spyder - what is good &/or bad about that year?

For the $7,000 price, that is a good deal. The trailer alone is worth at least $2500. That puts the price of the spyder at only $4500. Unless it has been abused, or has high milage, that is a good deal. Go for it if the test ride goes ok.

    Electric Spyder next?

The electric spyder is in the same class as the electric car for me. Yes, my wife might get one, so there would be one in my household. But as for me, I will stick with the good old tried and true. The other day a Tesla pulled up beside me on my mustang. The wife said, "looks like he wants...

Bumped from behind -- how bad is this fender damage?

:agree: It should, but I too had mine come loose and it kept coming back loose. I ended up going down to Lowes and picking up some plastic rivets to hold it together.

    Went To Buc-ee's in Atlanta!

They are trying to get permission to put one in Burlington, NC (about 45 minutes from me). They had a meeting last night and had a lot of people for it, but some locals against it. They tried it one town over about 20 years ago and failed to get approval. I am thinking that this time it will...

Any pics or suggestions on which rear rack to use as Givi mount? 2019 F3T

That is the one that I have a 54L givi box mounted to. It is great. Easy to install and looks nice as well.

Whoops I did it again! Got an M109 for the times that I still like to ride 2 wheels!

As you can see, I have a long history with the M109. My 2006 was the first one that I purchased. My first bike was a 600cc yamaha sport bike, then a Suzuki LC1500. One was too fast, the other too slow. The M109 fit right where I wanted to be.

Whoops I did it again! Got an M109 for the times that I still like to ride 2 wheels!

Well, I have been riding 2 wheels less and less. I loved the BMW K1600B, but it wasn't being ridden as much as it deserved lately and I couldn't see having that nice a bike sitting. But there are times that I still like to ride 2 wheels. Well, the stars aligned and a buddy of mine had a clean...

Need info on getting an Antenna mount for F3-L without rear trunk - anyone help?

Check with some of the people who sell luggage racks for the F3T. I purchased one for my 2016 RTL, which doesn't come with the trunk. They gave me an option to purchase a mini antenna which mounts beside where the cover for the rear area is located. Good luck.

Need Front Wheel Track Width for 2020+ RT - anyone help?

The 2013 RT is slightly wider than the 2016 F3T. I modified my trailer for my 2016 F3T and it fit perfect. On a ride, my buddies 2013 RT ran hot and I gave him a lift home. It fit, but it was about an inch wider. Not enough to not use the trailer, but it was wider.

Wow The Black Friday Deals are On

Pedal Commander is having a $50 discount on most of their parts. I just bought one for my 2017 Mustang because I was so impressed with the performance on my 2016 F3L.

    2016 F3S shut down in gear, now won't restart - any info/ideas?

I hardly ever switch my spyder into neutral before turning it off. It always goes back to neutral when it starts.

    Thanks A Lot, Can-Am!!

I wanted a 2020+ RT from the moment that my 2 buddies picked theirs up in 2020. While I enjoyed my 2016 F3L Special Series, I just wanted something different. Well 1 year ago I was able to pick up a barely used 2021 RTL and loved it. So I passed my 2016 down to my bride. But she really...

Believe me, I am soaking all this knowledge in. As I stated earlier, I am looking to do a cross country trip in 2025 and your experience has been helping a lot.

Do you own another motorcycle besides your Spyder?

I have 2 spyders in my garage (2021 RTL and 2016 F3L special series). Until last week I also had a 2018 BMW K1600B. It was the best 2 wheeler that i have ever owned. But after a few too close calls over the past month, I decided that I would be riding 2 wheels a lot less often, probably 10%...

Looks like it's time to give up the ride - thoughts fm others who've faced this?

I am 6'-2", 260 and had the nerve to try to fit in a miata. I sat in a friends and thought I could make it work. But when I got all the way in and closed the doors, it was another story. A very good option for a nice little 2 seater that is very dependable, is the nissan 350 and 370. My...

Looks like it's time to give up the ride - thoughts fm others who've faced this?

I 100% understand where you are coming from. I am not up there yet, but have been giving second thoughts about my 2 wheeler. The biggest problem is that my current one is the best bike that I have had out of the 18 that I have owned in the past 17 years. It fits me in every way. But after a...

Wonderful write up! Keep it coming. I do have one question (I might have missed the comment earlier). For the hotels, did you have reservations in advance, or did you just make a seat of the pants decision on where to stop and found a hotel in that town? That is the one things I would be...

Day number 9 seems to be the most exciting so far. Glad you made it out unharmed. This is awesome! Keep it coming. PS, if this entire trip is a prank and you are making it all up, please don't tell us, just write a novel and we will buy it. Lol!

Anyone removed the Rear Trunk on 2020 RTL & replaced with panel? Miss the storage?

I do like mine better without the trunk. But sometimes the wife will not ride her own bike, but Ican convince her to ride with me. So now I keep the trunk on mine and ride hers when I want to not have the trunk. As for extra space, I don't miss it, because I rode a 2016 F3T for 6 years. No...
