• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Ask the BRP/Spyder Engineers Questions

Hand Brake Many riders have a serious need for a hand brake! Those who are injured, handicapped, and older need a hand brake to safely ride the Spyder. Additionally, how is one to push the Spyder and stop it when necessary? I think that not only will a hand brake make the Spyder safer, it...

I Need a Hand Brake Great job, and I bet the brake works well----thanks for the pictures. A couple years ago, in a down-hill mountain bike ride, I fell. As a result, the hip surgery left me with a weak right hip and leg---and one leg is shorter than the other. I really need the hand...

    The New Brake Pads

The "service bulletin--2009-4" that I found on this forum tells that the original brake pads are developing some trouble. With only 1,900 miles on my SE5, the brakes are making lots of noise on every stop now. My dealer told me that the new pads are much better and will not make the stopping...

    Is There A Need??

B-Dog-------------- I'd like to have one like the motorcycle trailer I have now: mine folds and with rollers on the back, I can stand it up and roll in to the side of the garage---it takes a min of space. I'd get one like that if it's low and will take a Spyder on board easily....Price is...

    BRP Hand Brake?

Great Comments----------- ---------------I think eveyone is right------BRP should keep the Spyder braking system just the way it is ( it was born this way); however, why doesn't someone/company make a really good hand brake system that can be added for those who want one? I would like to see a...

    Modified the Corbin Seat--------

-----------I explained earlier that, since I'm fairly tall, the new Corbin seat forced me too far forward, and my legs were bent too much. My feet were not comfortable on the rider pegs. Today, I took the Corbin seat off---removed the rivets under the back----removed about 3 pounds of foam...

Kragen's Auto Kragen's Auto in So Orange County has a Prestone 50/50 mix , and I'm sure that will do----it's what I'm using. Prestone mentions how the Coolant additive serves many cooling aspects----I was told that the 50/50 mix is better for the new, light weight aluminum engines.

Russell or Corbin Saddle? It's decision time. Owners of either; what say you?

Corbin Seat I really like the Corbin seat for sitting in the seat rather than sitting on the seat---I kept sliding off the original seat on turns. But---the Corbin for the Spyder, I'm sure, is better for shorter people. At 6 feet, I feel too close to the handlebars, and my legs are...
