• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Help - Oil Pressure Gauge Installation

A customer wants me to install blue digital oil pressure and ammeter (not voltmeter) gauges on his RT. I understand the oil pressure piping issues and can handle that, but I have a couple of questions: 1) Confirm I need 2 1/16 dia gauges? 2) How are modern digital ammeters connected these days...

ESI HMT Brake Light and 'Pulse-On' Effect

RT lower side black plastic reinforcement?

That's reassuring. Although the vendor site doesn't show or describe any of what you've explained, based on your message, I'll recommend this to my customer. Thanks!

RT lower side black plastic reinforcement?

I saw these before I posted my thread. I'm not sure this is it. The ESI site doesn't say anything about resting your feet on them, and they don't appear to attach to the frame or body, so if that's true, all the weight of your foot is on the original mounting points of the rain deflectors...

RT lower side black plastic reinforcement?

My local BRP dealer says there's a metal accessory part available that reinforces the black curved lower side pieces on an RT (BRP calls them rain deflectors) so that you can then safely use the rain deflectors as foot rests without breaking them. Anyone heard of that?

    Rear Wheel Bearing Replacement

Follow-up question Follow-up question: Where you call for three O-rings 15IDx3mm, I can only find two of them in the BRP on-line parts catalog (two of that type, one of the other type, three total O-rings) What am I missing?

    Rear Wheel Bearing Replacement

    Brake Failure message

Then its not fluid level, they're very topped off and the error message did not clear. MMcc- To clarify, do you mean the anti-lock sensors? (the ones that are close to, and point towards, the toothed gear)

    Brake Failure message

The caps were swapped a long time ago. I always point the vents rearward. Yup, they still leak, I've always had paper towel wrapped around the caps to absorbe up the leaked fluid before it damages anything. Question for ThreeWheels - when you topped off the fluid, did the "Brake Failure" code...
