• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

THE STUPIDEST, DUMBEST THING ANYONE HAS EVER DONE....AND I DID IT

Sooo, your going to make me tell the whole story....... When we wre re-routing the cables for the risers, pulled the dash display, found the "cable tie" that you have to cut to get more wire length, reached in real careful-like, cut the tie, and finished the job. was all done by 21:30. Told him...

THE STUPIDEST, DUMBEST THING ANYONE HAS EVER DONE....AND I DID IT

Same thing happened to me when I installed the E.S.I risers on a friends :spyder2: (third set of risers that I had done). It was really embarassing. He had to ride mine home. I woke up at 3 the next morning and fixed it, when the light bulb came on, in my head!

    Curious about new 2013 Spyders

Just my $00.02, my GS(RS) has highway pegs, 4" risers, narrowed mount for risers, Russel Day Long seat, and Lamonster's first handbrake(still going strong on first brake cable). It has more leg room than the RT(sat on mine and then sat on an RT). Bad knees makes me want to keep my GS. :thumbup...

    Rear wheell axle on fire.

I have changed the rear tire and also changed the bearings at the same time on mine and a friends '08 GS at around 17,000. Had another friend have his tire changed at the stealer and they did not change the bearings. About a month after his was changed, the bearings failed and cost him a new hub...

To all my fellow at home Spyder mechanics...

Made one with a Sears 27mm 1/2" drive socket. Fit inside the nut perfect. Drilled and tapped the socket for two 4mm allen head screws, 180 degrees from each other, close to the drive end of the socket. Put socket inside the nut backwards, used 3/8"-1/2" adapter and a 3/8" ratchet. Cost; 0...

How many Spyder riders still own 2 wheelers?

My oldest son was riding the M109R and I would ride it every once in a while. I got to the point that I wasn't comfortable riding more than an hour on it (back, hips, knees, old, ect.).Well, the son bought his first bike, a Honda CBR 1000. So....the 109 found a new home. I have had a two...
