• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

So that happened. Passed out from the heat.

Yes and No. Not if you get the Apple Watch with the built in phone. It does not need a separate phone to use this feature, but it does required an iPhone to initially setup the watch.

    Busting common hydration myths

don't just carry it, drink it. It stores better in your body anyway. It is not doing any good in a water bottle. People have died of dehydration while rationing water.

The BRP dealer network screw job.

You are wrong. It is the dealers. Mine mounted my car tires for me, no problem. I only have them do the rear (remove mount and reinstall) total cost was $108. The fronts I remove myself and take to a local tire shop. I order my tires from Tire Rack.

Selling my Spyder - should I let them ride, or pillion?

It is your decision, but I rode 2 wheels since the '60 until I bought a HD trike in 2016. In 2020 I bought my Spyder, but not sure if I would have done it without being able to test ride it (private sale on a 2 year old F3L)

    Dragon or Rattler?

Almost the other side of the world, but the Devil's Highway in Arizona is a great ride. over 400 curves and elevation change of just over 5,000 ft. Last time I did it was early October. It is just about 100 miles and I met a total of 27 vehicles. Definitely the road less travelled.

Installed a Pedal Commander & Brake Flasher today - Very Happy!!

Installed my Pedal Commander today. Hardest part was 'fishing' that little sucker up to the top by the ignition key location. Went for a ride and YUP it do make a difference. I think I settled on the 'city' setting for day to day, as we are usually 2 up just doing short day rides. When I go...

Don't know, don't care. When you buy a tire from Tire Rack they always include 2 year road hazard coverage. And the tire was shipped free and arrived in 2 days.

Gas Gauge showing Full when tank is not - Why?

relating this to my Harley days, I think this also applies to the Spyder. The gas in the tank is also used to cool the fuel pump. Running it dry or close to dry, I believe, will put undo stress on the fuel pump. I try to never allow the low fuel light to come on. This still gives me around...

Well I got a new Vredestein and Tire Rack is reimbursing me for the new tire as part of their included road hazard. Also they provide free shipping so that helps. Got the Vredesteins back on and sold the Kendas I had to purchase to get back home. Ended up costing my about 80 dollars for the...

Need to replace my Sena - any reviews on Sena 50's?

Our riding group (4-8) of us all use Sena 50 (some R some S). At first we struggled a little getting all the settings correct, but they have always worked very well. Some of us listen to music during a ride and others only use it for communication. I do both. We usually don't go more than...
