• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Another Oil Thread (sorry!) - Has anyone tried using Mobil 1 10W40?

Thanks Peter, and all the others who have commented.. I have fully decided this oil would be a bad choice based on comments. I asked the question and got good answers, that's a good thing.

OK, I guess it isn't JASO MA2 rated. Answers the question Paul. If I don't find that on the label, we are done here, thanks bud.

Another Oil Thread (sorry!) - Has anyone tried using Mobil 1 10W40?

Actually, I was referencing this oil, but I'm guessing it's not gonna get any recommendation here. Mobil-1-High-Mileage-Full-Synthetic-Motor-Oil-10W-40-5-Quart/17034354

Another Oil Thread (sorry!) - Has anyone tried using Mobil 1 10W40?

I cringe, but I need to. Anyone on the forum used the Mobil 1 10/40? Living in hot Florida, I'm thinking 10/40 is a bit better. Anyone that wants to post pop corn, be my guest, not offended. 2020 RTL

Refusal to look at my 2015 RT-S by a Can Am Dealer!

FJR said his '2025' was 9 years old, not 10.

Front seat support piston failed again - I made a replacement rod!

Great offer John. My 2020 RTL front seat shock also failed, twice, including the the warranty replacement. I finally jury rigged mine as well. After rethinking that I might want to sell it some day, I bit the silver bullet and installed an after market. What can I say, BRP had a boat load...

Anyone had any success contacting Pedalbox lately?

I like punching that 'like' button to a good comment, but sometimes a comment needs to see a "like" comment. Ron has some good ones for sure.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

PDX, not a bad idea, I was thinking maybe two is better than one. if ya need some separation of stuff. Sure easy to take out if ya don't need it. Versatile. Thanks.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Oh my, what did I do, what did I do? Changed the oil and filter yesterday, did a shake down run with the Mrs for a quick lunch. So I checked the parked spot under the Spyder, yes the small evidence of an oil leak. Back home, so a careful observation under the right drain plug of the machine...

BLUEKNIGHT911 - Diagnosed June, Passed away due to cancer 23 Oct 2024 - RIP

Mike, following closely my forum friend. Yes, 'we all do die sometime', I'm thinking, I'm 91, and you'll still be on this forum sharing your information about tires when I'm somewhere in another place riding my Spyder RTL. Cheers going out.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Maybe boring to some, but to me, a challenge....Oil and filter change. Seems I am not reaching the required mileage these days so it's a yearly thing. I wonder if the yearly low mileage change is really necessary?
