• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Is 8721 a small percentage? BRP were dragged in kicking and screaming after 1 unfortunate owner reported the safety issue related to loss of motion due to shaft breakage as stated in the NHTSA Cronology section and linked earlier in this thread.

    TCW3 mixed with fuel at 1% concentration. Can be used all year round.

    5% affected by shaft break or fitted with a suspect shaft? So the other 95% are to be done anyway? Very curious that the link below seems to be the second report of failure on this forum...

    l wish you luck. It'll be a whole lot worse than the drive sprocket recall, and here we were worried about curing time for Loctite. This recall will take years.

    The dash cluster is held by 2 clips on the top edge. There are 2 holes in the upper cover, seen from above, which give access to the 2 clips which can be depressed with a small screwdriver to release the cluster.

    I've had success cleaning such injectors with a fuel rail, used fuel pump, tub of kero and a 9v battery. The injectors can be go into the injectors the opposite was after removing the tiny inlet filter/screen, reverse flushed, then fitted the correct way to check spray pattern. Here's a link...
