• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

On the fence wins! I can see the dang thing hanging loose now. If I only had some tools now.

    My first breakdown

I’ll have to look at the shifter arm tomorrow. Having it towed home first. Bummer-BRP just called and told me that the original tow company they called no longer handles these services. Waiting for them to locate any company.

    My first breakdown

Beautiful riding day ruined by my first breakdown. Coming home, I went to shift from 3rd to 4th and then felt a brief hesitation. Thought I had missed the shift paddle, then realized it was stuck in 3rd. Starts up ok, still shows 3rd and the throttle lags when turned. No codes showing. So, here...

    Vibration and clatter

My 2014 ST-S does the same thing if I drive off almost immediately after cold starting it. I usually let it idle for about 3 minutes to get the engine temp up and that reduces the initial engagement to almost nothing.

    Frunk inner liner for a 2014 ST-S

Forget my last comment. I did not see your pictures in your original post, now I do. I see what you mean on the gasket and how it fits/works. Thanks.

    Frunk inner liner for a 2014 ST-S

So, does the original rubber frunk gasket remain or does the liner have one on its top edge to replace it?

    Frunk inner liner for a 2014 ST-S

Anyone here using one of these and know the exact part nbr? I see a few online and cannot tell which one is correct. Furthermore, how well is the fit and how does it attach or sit near the top. Some of the pictures show a perfect glove-like fit and some look like it it just sloppily stretched...

    Air filter change

I finally tackled the dreaded air filter change on my 14 STS. Actually, the worst part was removing all of the necessary panels and stuff to get to it. Geez, what a tight fit it was though. The factory manual calls for removing most of the entire front components to do the job but I was able to...

    Trailering a Spyder RT

I made three ramps out of 2x12's and 2x8's. The front wheel ramps are 32 inches long and the center ramp is 26 inches long. All three are about 8-9 inches tall and held together with deck screws. The center ramp has a slot on it so the ramp edge locks into it so the rear wheel can't kick it out...

    Anyone Ever Consider a Scooter?

The CVT was nice. You had three modes, regular, sport and “manual”. Sport mode would keep it from “shifting” as soon as regular so you could hit higher RPM’S. “Manual” mode merely locked the CVT at preset positions (like being in a fixed gear) so you could rev up until you “shifted” to the next...

    Anyone Ever Consider a Scooter?

I had a 2013 650. Loved it. It was more capable of taking care of itself than many others believed. No problem keeping up with the 'big boys". Sadly, a weather related accident totaled it and sent me to a trauma center for 5 days. :(

Any good laser alignment places on the Florida Gulf coast?

MotoMember in Leesburg. On their 4th service manager in 18 months now. I had earlier concerns with some of their warranty work on my Spyder. There are now in the process of building a brand new larger facility in Purcellville about 10 miles away. This place supposedly will have 3 bike mechanics...

Any good laser alignment places on the Florida Gulf coast?

Anyone know any locations for laser alignment in the Venice-Sarasota areas of Florida? I am traveling down that way for a few weeks to assist my parents with some medical and living choices that need to be addressed. Never did trust my dealer back in Virginia.
