• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Recall - 2017-2019 RT and F3 Engine Output Shaft Can Break!

This does not make sense to me about the mileage. I own a 2017 F3 Limited and it has less than 21748 miles. So I'm in the recall limits. So if I had a F3 with 22000 miles the recall does not effect this bike. So what I'm taking from all this is that if you above the mileage limits your...

F3-T third service at ~15k miles

I also do my own oil & filter changes. I get my oil, Amsoil and oil filter kit for Baja Ron. Have for years. Changing the oil & filter is not rocket science, it's actually pretty easy.

F3s Travel cover needed - any recommendations on which is best?

I personally would not cover your bike with a cover when traveling. It will scratch the paint especially on a utility trailer.

Does anyone leave the parking brake off during winter storage? And some rodent protection discussion...

I really haven't given that much thought. I have always applied the parking brake when in my garage. I have done that with the 3 Spyders I have owned over the years. I also keep them on a battery maintainer when in the garage. I've never had a problem with the brake not releasing. So what...

What Communication devices do you use between rider/pillion & other riders in your group?

The group I ride with uses the Cardo Edge. I think they have better & clearer sound than the Sena's

Any ideas on what might cause this abrupt loss of power?

Question: Did you just fill up with gas when this happened? If so, it might be bad gas you got. It doesn't matter what grade of gas you put in your Spyder as all under ground gas tanks can get water in them. You may also have a clogged fuel filter. Another thing to do is have your battery...

Such sad news. I first meet Joe & his wife at a Spyderfest Rally in 2015. Such a funny & great guy. RIP my friend.

New Spyder sold with no factory warranty - is this right? What say you all?

Unless the dealership registered for demo purposes, you should have 2 years of warranty that comes with a new purchase. If the dealership registered the Spyder, then the warranty started when it was registered. I think you should be asking more questions. In other words, ask questions or...

Does the F3 need a new design?

Does anybody else think that the F3 needs to be redesigned after 10 years of the same looks? I do and I hope it's a homerun. Your thoughts?

Did oil change & checked level properly; NO oil showing on dip stick - any ideas?

Just a thought. The dipstick is hard to read, cause the oil color kind of blends in with the color of the dipstick. I would check the oil again according to the book. After taking your bike for a ride, turn off and let set for a few seconds and then check the level. Be sure to screw your...

2025 Pulse and Origin Reveal - did they fail mileage hopes?

There is a new Ford Ev factory going in close to Memphis and they keep pushing the opening date. It's now pushed back to 2027. Makes you think Ford may be rethinking things. Time will only tell.

Cannot get the rear pulley to seat properly - any ideas?

Thats what it sounds like to me also that you didn't mark the rubber cushions and one or more may not be in the right place. Good luck.

So many complaints about the Spyders. Anyone with no problems?

2012 RTS: No codes thrown. Only thing I had the dealer correct was the bouncing gas gauge needle. I really could of lived with that though. 2015 RTS: No codes thrown. This was a really a great bike. I even made a trip out west covering 9300 miles in 28 days. Not one hicup. 2017 F3...

Where is your Pedal Commander mounted on 2017 F3 Limited?

Well I installed the pedal commander today and mounted it under the left access panel. Really easy install except for the panel, seats and frunk tub removal. Took more time taking panels off and reinstalling them then actually the install, which is plug & play. I didn't take the Spyder for...
