• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Phil's 2014 (neww) DARTH Mods

Hey Randy- Nothing proprietary. I'm not in it for profit, only for fun so I'm HAPPY to share what I know. The total extra drain is about 6-8 amps, total. I know that because of the fusing and the current measurements I made as I went along. All of the LED controls are in the left saddle bag...

    Phil's 2014 (neww) DARTH Mods

FULLY understand. Many times I have taken 4 steps forward and 3 back when I get in a hurry. S oldering is necessary when you make up LED strips the length that you want. Connecting wires... butt connectors and Posi-tap brand connectors are great and make like so much easier.

HA! The better to see me with little boy ;) It's VERY easy to kill all of them if any cop has any issue. I'm pretty careful to not run red or blue modes ;)

    Phil's 2014 (neww) DARTH Mods

Yes sir, they are edge lit. There is a company (I need to go back and research who since I bought them months ago) that makes a really narrow footprint 5050 RGB LED strip, and sells them along with plastic 'U' channel. Great guy. It requires some very fine soldering to get the wires attached...

    Phil's 2014 (neww) DARTH Mods

Many of you know that I am in a 12 step program for LED addiction ;) This thread will chronicle the farkling of (new) DARTH that we picked up from Pitbull and Lamonster Garage at Spyderfest 2014. I searched for the latest LED technologies. The latest in super bright LEDs is a class called COB...

Thanks SO much! Great information to have at hand when they call me back. And they are not that far from me so I may just run up to their shop and look first hand at options. Phil, Tyler TX- from my iPad 7.5 using Tapatalk HD

I'm in the market for one to haul our two RTs. I watched their (Sloan) video and was pretty impressed. You might know this off the top of your head---- My vehicle has a 5,000lb towing limit with an electric brake trailer. Off the top of your head, can I make that work with this trailer? I am...

Sena SMH10R, any way to attach a 2nd battery?

I agree with Dave's answer. I have 4 of the SMH10 units on various helmets and we get an average of 14-15 hours on a charge. Most of that, for me, is listening to tunes and the Google navi lady from my phone at almost full blast. Add in the occasional intercom chat with my bride. Phil, Tyler...

Fuse block location '13, '14 RT

I put mine in the same place on my 2010 & 2014-- take off the covers behind the frunk. On the left side (driver's view), there is an empty area. I use this one- http://www.fuzeblocks.com and it fits nicely in that blank area. I do not suggest securing it. Make it easy on yourself to pull it out...

    Ignition switch Failure/not working

Sorry for the delay bro. Had company all weekend. From here, all I have is intuitive things like trying to get contact cleaner in the area where the big red switch contact would be, along with the actual start switch. Actuate them several times to help work the cleaner around. If that doesn't...

    Ignition switch Failure/not working

Der Mr Bait ;) Contact cleaner- try an auto parts store. Compressed duster air- good idea to try first. All that Cali dust might be killin it. Removal- simple- 4 (I think) screws in the back of the housing. Miss seeing you my friend .... Phil, Tyler TX- from my iPad 7.5 using Tapatalk HD

    HID issues

No issues I have installed HIDs on a 2010 RT (3 years of ryding) and now my 2014 RT. ZERO issues (3 months of ryding). The fact is that when the bikes are manufactured, they have a known set of tested variables. Yes, there have been factory issues. WHEN any of us (me included) mess with that...
