• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Here is a pic of mine. The inside hole is the stiffest setting. The outside is less stiff. Cheers, Cole

Securing the BRP Mono Cowl…my rubber thingy’s broke doing 80 mph on the I-4 Freeway

Ron, Thanks for the kind words...our team took 0 causulties, however the visting team took about 14. This search was for a cache of Toy RF Transmitters and components used to dentonate IED's. Found some...but it seems we can never find them all. As if there is no end point to reach for. Pray...

Yes it has two points that you can attach for a stiff (little more than stock) and extra stiff ( really firm for agressive driving) Cole

Would anyone like a BRP Mono Cowl with storage and size like Corbin Smuggler?

You nailed some specifics. I am looking at presenting something more agressive like the Busa tail, but keeping in line with the curves of the Spyder. Another key point you got is yes, it can be stored in the trunk. Yes waterproof because it will be made of fiberglass with a rubber sealed lid and...

There is a very noticeable difference in the thickness. The EVo is thicker than the stock, and offers two input points for a stiff and then a stiffer ride. Although I did not measure the EVO, I can put my caliper on the EVO to get is dimensions if you like. Cole

Would anyone like a BRP Mono Cowl with storage and size like Corbin Smuggler?

So your telling me everyone is in love with this bag (This thing is really cool, I can't get enough cool points with it) or simply keep riding around with this stock with plastic option (which can blow off at a moments notice) or better yet spend $1400 dollars on this option instead (and not...

Elka VS Fox VS Progressive Front Suspension Discussion

Pro10is, I sincerely agree with you. As you noticed when John became present on the forum as a representative from Elka I was in the middle of a phone conversation with my dealer about the rear Stage 1 HYDP were not going to be available. If you see my post to John, to include the PM it was...

Elka VS Fox VS Progressive Front Suspension Discussion

I just ordered a set of Elkas for my 2011 RS-S. I was unhappy with the stock shocks so that is why I decided to look for shock alternatives. I did not like the body lean and brake squash the stock shocks would give as feed back after multiple adjustments. The rear shock rebound rate was way...

Elka VS Fox VS Progressive Front Suspension Discussion

Elka Rep, I ordered a Stage 1+ HYPD the first week of the new year. I jus t got an email from my dealer at Honda Tloedo East that you do not have the STAGE 1 +HYD BRP-SPYDER-0811-R-E46R/HYDP for 2011 Can Am RS-S. Is this correct??? This is the model with the remote knob to easily adjust ride...

Securing the BRP Mono Cowl…my rubber thingy’s broke doing 80 mph on the I-4 Freeway

You are something else:bowdown: got the hubby riding with you. Spyders are fun be it your driving or the passenger. You noted you used the velcro which was one idea I saw and actually tried, but it was like you noted hard to take off and caused some marring of the paint. I took some rubber...

Would anyone like a BRP Mono Cowl with storage and size like Corbin Smuggler?

I can understand not posting pics...in todays world ideas are dollars, you don't want to give away a marketing idea. Your heading down the right track though. One thing I have imagined in my design is to utilize the stock BRP seat like the mono cowl with a storage system and maintain the...

Would anyone like a BRP Mono Cowl with storage and size like Corbin Smuggler?

Can you send me a pic of what you did. I tried the Axio Tail bag (pic below) which actually was not bad, but it just did not conform/contour with the seat the way my Mono Cowl did. The matte black color however was dead on. I almost pulled the trigger on the Corbin which would have stung me...

Would anyone like a BRP Mono Cowl with storage and size like Corbin Smuggler?

Can Am Spyder Mono Cowl w/ storage and size like Corbin Smuggler...good idea?? This would be a dream come true for many of us GS and RS riders using a Can Am Spyder Mono Cowl as a removable storage attachment to our Spyders. I think it would be an excellent addition to the lack of additional...

Securing the BRP Mono Cowl…my rubber thingy’s broke doing 80 mph on the I-4 Freeway

It baffles me they build such a beautiful machine like nothing else out there, and simply can't get something like a bungee lock cord straight. I could run to the patent office and try and make a buck, I rather BRP just make something affordable that works...to include a Mono Cowl with storage.

Securing the BRP Mono Cowl…my rubber thingy’s broke doing 80 mph on the I-4 Freeway

Yes doing 80mph down I-4 in Tampa Florida, I saw my Mono Cowl take to the wind like a Star Wars Death Glider and get smashed by a Ford Pick-Up truck behind me:mad:. The bungees must have been worn and broke when I scooted back on the seat, next thing I felt something funny and saw it sail away...
