• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Boots-comfortable and walkable?

I wear a Ladies double-zip Harley boot... totally comfortable for me -- whether walking or riding. Another benefit -- easy to take off or slip on by opening just one zipper. Hate laces. I ride a 2012 RTS-SE5. Good luck with your search! Not waterproof though...

    CB Radio

My husband and I have always used CBs to communicate between bikes... first when we rode two 2-wheelers and now to communicate between my Spyder and my husband's Harley Tri-Glide. Our helmet headsets are the same as when we rode the 2-wheelers and are not bluetooth compatible. We've always...

    Tri Axis Adjustable Handlebar

Tri Axis Handlebars Shandycat.... The difference in handling was just me adjusting to the position of the new bars ... bike responded differently... sort of like riding a Spyder for the 1st time with the 'grip of death'... a little twitchy. When we got home, my husband loosened the two...

    Helmets

Back when my husband and I rode the RT together, his full-face Arai went into the Frunk but couldn't fit mine in the saddlebag because of comm plug. For short stops, locked mine onto the back seat with a heavy gauge nylon wrapped cord with built-in combination lock --- linked it through the D...

Baker Air Wings or BRP Adjustable Wind Deflectors?

I have to admit that I've been hesitant about getting the Baker Wings because of the looks... agree with your thoughts but know they work well. Would like any addition to look as though it 'belongs'. Have a lot to think about. Lots of good replies/information... thanks to everyone! Jenna

    New Texas Spyder Owner

That is one of my favorite colors... Congrats and enjoy the ride! (Accidentally 'fat fingered' the 'experienced the same thing' button at the bottom of your post. Sorry about that :opps:...:opps: )

Baker Air Wings or BRP Adjustable Wind Deflectors?

Thanks for replies... have a better understanding now of how both deflectors work. Just know my saddle is hot and the sheepskin I use only helps at highway speeds. Am hoping the deflectors will help a lot... and sounds as though they will. Thanks again Jenna

Baker Air Wings or BRP Adjustable Wind Deflectors?

I'm thinking of purchasing adjustable wind deflectors for my 2012 RTS. If anyone has either of these brands, would really appreciate your comments about how well they work. I'm hoping redirecting the air into the seat area will help reduce some of the heat! :sour: Thanks so much!
