• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What Portable jump starters are you using?

In spite of the Harbor Frieght jump starter not doing well in the test video, has anyone who has one had a problem with their's when it was needed? Thinking most are pretty much the same, I sprung for the HF one. The test showed me they are not similar.

Front sprocket blocked - how to remove?

My wife and I rode in northern Italy and found the people, the roads, the scenery and the foods to be beyond wonderful. I could go back in a heartbeat. Good luck with the remainder of your project. I can not stress enough that checking the front pulley SHOULD BE a regular mantenance item...

Front sprocket blocked - how to remove?

Agreed on the penetrant. The very best penetrant is home made. It's 50/50 transmission fluid and acetone. I saw a very good video testing every brand of penetrant plus that one and to took far less torque to undo the equally corroded bolts in the test. hypurone...I mentioned the heat gun in...

Front sprocket blocked - how to remove?

At the same time you are using the gear puller, apply heat with a propane torch or heat gun to expand the pulley. That should help to loosen its grip on the shaft and loosen the corrosion inside. Don't do it too long and heat the shaft too. Your English is a lot better than my Italian, even...

    Hyper sensitive steering on F3-T

Peter is soooo right! My driving/riding mantra is; Swivel eyes, swivel head. Also look as far ahead as is possible at all times. And check the mirrors every 3 to 5 seconds. In other words; Be totally aware of your surroundings at all times. Here's a tip I get some flack on, but it has saved...

Any thoughts on battery replacement? Change now or at failure?

A forum friend, BLUEKNIGHT911, in another battery thread, has an excellent way to get the full life out of your battery and I am going to adopt it too. He carries one of those portable power packs and the second time he has to use it to jump start his bike, he replaces the battery. Why the...

    Hyper sensitive steering on F3-T

As mentioned; loose hands on the grips, PLUS loose arms too. I know it's hard - been there - but relax and realize that the steering is sensitive to your smallest inputs. Definately get that laser alignment. If your's is even just a bit off, you will be surprised at the improvement it will...
