• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder Maintenance in the Sunshine State...

I got a deal on my 2015 RT Limited that was so good it was almost criminal, but, I drive from Clay County to Central Florida Power Sports in Kissimee and see Kenny Butler for any work or service that needs to be done. Besides outstanding work and warrantee service, they have loaners if needed...

    Wind noise with intercom System

When we first got our Sena's I had the settings set for VOX and found that the wind noise from having the mic's hot all the time kept the mikes keyed and the system was just about unusable. After turning the VOX off and keying the mic with the Sena switch the intercom worked very well if you...

    Florida Dealer Recommendation

I have to agree with "EXPLORER", I drive 160 miles to used Central Florida Powersports, Chris is great, and Kenny Butler is one of the best Spyder mechanics that BRP has. Not to mention that they wash your bike before giving it back to you and fill the gas tank also. David Von Stein

Changing the location of the Garmin 590LM

I have moved mine to the dash, and like it there because I don't have to take my eyes off the road to see the display. But, I still see the reflection of my shirt an try to wear a darker one to off set that. Turn the brightness of the display up to high and that helps also. And yes, there is...

SpyderCodes no longer available for new downloads

Before you get to harsh with BRP, keep in mind that Apple who owns iTune, just revamped they whole music and app world with their latest update for the iPhone and iPad. iTunes no longer handles any apps, only music and videos while they have come out with an Apps Store to handle games, books...

Smoothspyder vs Doc Humphreys belt roller assembly for F3 T

I had a Sooth Spyder tensioner on my RT and it did an ok job. But now have a Doc Humphreys one on and it is doing a better job. Keep in mind, I have an RT and there are some differences in your F3.

Where in central Florida is a good spyder dealer for service

I'll have to vouch for Central Florida Power sports, I drive 150 miles from Jacksonville to have them work on my Spyder. Kenny Butler has to be the top mech. in Florida, if not in the country. On top of that, when they are finished they wash your ride and fill it up with gas. David VonStein...

Goggles or Air Sealed Glasses (with 1/2 helmet)

There are a few companies that provide specific use glasses/goggles, I happen to us SportRX, and prefer Wiley X frames. The can also provide prescription lense's and have an optometrist on the premise when they are open. If you go to their website, you can see their full line of frames and the...

    Cooler Rack

You might check JT's rear rack (he is a forum sponsor here), it's about $300.00 and a very nice piece. I just put one on my RT and like it. there are some pictures in the General section, look for JT's NHR rack. David

    JT's NHR Carrier

I don't think I would put 40 pounds on that rack. The rack would hold it, but, you would be a bit over the limit set by BRP. What John said about the dry box, is use a ratchet strap, for soft bags you can use bungee's. David

    JT's NHR Carrier

JT's Rear Rack - pictures Well, the weekend is finally over and I just got the rack mounted on the rear of my RT Limited. JT's NHR Carrier

Gunner, they are listed as out of stock as he is sold out of the ones he had made. I know this because I just bought one, and he was in the process of finishing making the last two of the run he had started. In fact, they were listed as out of stock when I asked about them and he told me that...

Left Turns/Curves Still a Problem For Me....

You didn't say if you have attended one of Can Am's driving schools. My suggestion would be to check with your dealer and attend this class. You will spend a couple of days learning about riding a Spyder, and have the ability to experience many different riding situations that would take you a...
