• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Preventative Maintenance on Rear Sports Rack Cover Pin

I don't know what they call them, but they make springs clips that are sort of like safety pins, in that they lock in place like when you close a safety pin. David

Any pros or cons to running cat bypass with original muffler?

I did not do anything other than install a cat delete pipe and do the procedure that recalibrates the computer, and my RT ran very nice. I did the same thing when I replaced the stock system with the exhaust I have on now, shown in an earlier post in a video trying to show the sound of it. I...

    RT LIMITED or F3 LIMITED

I finally got to see a F3 Limited, and as much as I would like to have an F3, I will not ask my wife to sit on that passenger seat for an all day ride. To me it was just uncomfortable, and like sitting on an inflated balloon. I can not see getting ride of my RT Limited, it is comfortable for...

Any pros or cons to running cat bypass with original muffler?

If you remove the other muffler (some people call it a catalytic converter, but it really isn't) and leave the secondary muffler, you still have all the back pressure you need for proper performance. The computer will reset itself for correct fuel management, and I think my RT was a little...

    HELMET FITTING

I don't know about shaving off the foam liner, but I know you can compress it a little. You don't want to compress it where it makes your helmet too loose, but if you do it a bit at a time you can get a perfect fit. You can use a hammer to 'tap' the foam in the area that is uncomfortable, or...

Any pros or cons to running cat bypass with original muffler?

Hey Bob, I thought this was a newer thread, I think I've posted that video before. I did put a baffle in this one, when You got some RPM's up it had a sharp edge to the sound that got tireing affer a while. I have a good number of folks tell me it really sounds good. To me, it's ok, but...

Any pros or cons to running cat bypass with original muffler?

I started out with a stock muffler and cat delete pipe with no baffle. I liked it, it seemed to make the RT (a 2015 Limited with 1330 motor) a bit peppier, a little better gas milage, with a little more sound. But that was still a bit quiter than I wanted.. I purchased a custom built SS...

Those that have replace your rear tire on your RT?

Well, I rode from Jacksonville Florida to Kissimmee and and had them install a Kumho Ecsta AST in the OEM size (225/50-15). I had 11,000 on the stock tire and may have gotten another 1,000 but decided I wanted something better. I've put about 1,500 on the Kumho and have no regrets, it is a...

    thanks doc and kathy

I probably have a 1,000 miles on mine since I put the BRP idler pulley set up with Doc's adapter on my RT. I now have his complete (newest) set up on it and a few hundred miles, and like it even better. I can't believe how smooth my RT is, and the only vibration I feel is if I'm under 2,000...

    Problem with reset odometer

My owners manual (2015 RT Limited) says to press the V key twice to reset the trip meters(s), A and B. but to get to that selectin you have to cycle thru the mode (eco) button to get to the odemeter Page. and you can only reset the trip meters, not the odometer. David

    Very Unscientific Pulley Comparison

I installed mine on Saturday night, I had the BRP idler pulley set up with Doc's adapter, and decided to just remove the BRP part first and not mess with the adapter. I wasn't happy with the final result, and took the arm and adapter off to get the arm mounted better. (less movement, no...
