• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Maybe I'm missing something here but......

I bought my Spyder from a BRP dealer 30 minutes east of my home. I bought my Snowmobiles from a BRP dealer 30 miles west of my home. The dealer I bought the snowmobiles from practically begged me to bring my Spyder to him to have it serviced! So I did. It was only for a state inspection but he...

    I just hit a deer.

First it is good to hear you are ok. I also took a direct hit from a deer (buck) earlier in the year in the right front wheel. Destroyed the right front fender and ripped some plastic off the front end as well as my mirror and it ripped the saddlebag off as I was going by. The deer also hit my...

Are you still riding in the Northeast?

Still going when we have a chance. We will ride even after the first snow if the roads are dry. I do not winterize. My Spyder is always ready to go.

Are the ST and RS saddles interchangeable?

    Yes they are interchangeable.

    Another mpg thread

I also reset trip A at each fill up. I have not checked fuel mileage all summer. With my ST-L with a passenger I can usually go 150 to 170 miles before the low fuel light comes on. This time of year the mileage tanks low fuel light on at 120 to 135 miles.

    Veterans Day Spyder ride.

Sounds like you had a good time. We also rode on veterans day. Paid holiday for me, my wife took a vacation day. Weather was not as nice as was forecast but we still rode almost 200 miles. Went down to Havre de Grace Md to have lunch at the Tide Water Grill. Great day and good food. :D

Getting cold - How do you enjoy riding in the chilly weather?

We didn't use heated gear last year in Quebec when it was 40 below I don't think we need it on the Spyder when it is 20 or 30 above. We have broken out some of our snowmobile gear we just use a lot less layers underneath. This picture was of the second coldest night. The next night was about 10...

    Are rider floorboards adjustable

Aftermarket seat. You may not want to spend the money but the proper seat will move her front and lower and it should be far more comfortable. Lots of options out there. I have an Ultimate seat and I love it as well as my passenger. As mentioned driver floor boards are not adjustable.

Putting your Spyder to bed for the season

I am with ya Bob! This is the fall/early winter that just keeps giving. It keeps giving decent riding weather every weekend. Headed out again on Veterans day and hopefully again on Saturday 11/14. As for winterizing I only add fuel stabilizer as I seem to get out almost every month in the...

Ethanol article - Rider, Dec. '15

Bob it does not matter what you tell them (complain about) they will only do something if they will benefit from it. The government has the country brainwashed that ethanol is actually benefitting all of us :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:. Some of us know the truth but it will not...

    Have a few RS/RS-S questions...

You better check closely. I may be wrong here but I do not think they will fit the 2012's and older. 2013 YES they fit and it is NOT just 2 panels. There are two for each side. The panel directly in front must also be replaced.

Did any one get this email

Got it and then delete! I was considering an F3T for a very short period of time but it just does not look comfortable for my passenger. OH! and still not as much storage as my ST Limited.

    Did the "Hawks Nest" today

We planned on doing the ride today also. But as the week end got closer we decided to ride in the cooler weather and try to avoid the possible rain. It was not going to rain! I had our rain gear on board. :D

    Did the "Hawks Nest" today

We just missed you! Two of those pics were taken at 11:20am this morning. As we headed north it looked like we were certainly going to hit rain but not a drop.

    Michelin tire wear

That to me is not bad mileage out of a rear tire on a Spyder. I am approaching 12,000 miles on my Kumho and I am down to 2/32 tread left. That is a lot better of course than the 7500 miles I got out of the Kenda. I think the mileage wear on tires varies soo much due to different...

    Did the "Hawks Nest" today

After two previous attempts to do this ride we finally did it today. Cool most of the day. Started in the mid 30's and it did not get to 50 until well after lunch. We did mostly 4 lane in Pa. took 611 north crossed the Delaware and headed in to New Jersey 94 north, 206 north and back into pa on...
