• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Spyder in the snow

Yes I read that, but was thinking more on mechanical parts rusting rather then system not acting as they should in winter conditions. But yes the point is these are summer machines.;)

Just to clarify the law is that all motor vehicles must have snow tires on by December 15 in Quebec. People who have bikes usually use this as a gauge that it is the time To put the bike away for the winter, as will a lot of people are not covered by insurance during the winter months. So I do...

    Spyder in the snow

I noticed that what was not addressed in this thread is that the spyder is not intended as a winter machine, I would me more concerned about the affects on the parts such as bearings and such due to salt and snow. If my memory serves me right, Dave (And Teddy)from Cincinnati rode in the winter...

    Future nubie

I have the 2012 RT LTD and love it! As said above the new motor improved the Spyder RT, but as it is running great, and other life issues are more pressing, I will keep it for the time being. Depends on the money you have and what you really want. Good luck!:thumbup:

Never had the Spyder in longer then 1/2 a day, but I am in Quebec so I am sure getting the parts are much easier. 2 mths seems like a long time, anxious to see what others say.

    Drops of anti freeze.

We went out on a nice long ride yesterday for my wife's birthday. Which was fantastic, as we have not got out as much as we would like this year, with ongoing house Renos. The Spyder ran like a charm as usual. This morning after giving it the post ride bath, as I was backing into the garage I...
