• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Lightting suggestions

X2 on the Can Am Signature Light. Just had it installed. Looks flawless and lights up the road pretty effectively.

Let there be LIGHT!!! (and a smoother ride)

Fog light actuation button next to ignition (probably the thing I like most about the setup!)

    F3 Rear Shock options

Yessuh! I'm really jazzed for this extra lighting. It's insanely dark out in my neck of the woods after the sun goes down...last thing I want to do on this thing is clip a deer that I didn't see :yikes: I also ordered up the Can Am signature light that tucks in under the frunk lid.

    F3 Rear Shock options

This is good to know. I never ride 2 Up, since my wife has her own rig. I'm currently sitting at about 230-235 by myself...we'll see how it holds up over the next several thousand miles.

    F3 Rear Shock options

Okay, done deal. I just ordered the Can-AM "2 Up" rear shock for a Friday delivery (to be installed this weekend). Those Elkas are really nice, but I don't think I can justify the extra coin...I'm not looking to track the Batpod or anything, just want to stop the bottoming out that comes with...

    F3 Rear Shock options

Sounds like this is the route to go, from a budget standpoint. I would be curious to ride a Spyder with one of the Elka rear shocks, though.

I like the sound of the 2-Up shock from a budget standpoint...checked out those Elka shocks online...look pretty swanky, but MAJOR coin!

    F3 Rear Shock options

I'd probably be inclined to lean towards one of the Can Am/Fox OEM options...just wondering if there's any rider experience here with either of the units?

    F3 Rear Shock options

Considering swapping the rear shock on my F3S. I noticed a couple of options on Can Am's website: - FOX Factory series 2.0 PODIUM RC2 Rear Shock (Can Am Part # 219400577) - FOX Adjustable Rear Shock (Can Am Part # 219400734) Anyone running either of these? Differences between the two? Any...

    Motorcycle Insurances

X2 on Markel. Both my wife and I insured with two Spyders...approximately $1,200 bucks per year ($100/month). Neither of us have M1 endorsements. I can live with this premium.

Not to rub it in but...

The wife was miffed that she couldn't ride Gipsy Danger this weekend. We have a standing agreement that she is more than welcome to ride to church every Sunday and I'll take the baby in the Forester. Tehachapi randomly got an inch of snow on Saturday night, though :banghead: I told her that I...

New rider intro, questions and comments

Welcome aboard, Jojo! If you're wife is anything like my wife...she'll quickly get tired of riding passenger and want her own Spyder! :roflblack: Nothing wrong with having two of these fantastic machines in the stable, either :2thumbs:

F3 RH Body Panel removal (pictures?)

JKM: Just wanted to make sure I had this all down, so I snapped some pictures (see below) to reference what you describe above. Let me know if I'm on the money, or not. Also, got the Spyder up on ramps to locate the drain plugs...found those pretty easy. Okay, here we go... Plastic cover that...
